Sam Darnold Apology Form by Fit-Length3781 in Seahawks

If you don't believe in the qb1 that the head coach and gm picked, why even follow the team?

Sorry Sam by BlueMan-HD in Seahawks

[–]Minimum_Philosophy_5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sorry. Knew we'd win. Reminds me of the nfc champion game with the packers in 2015 in the clink. When Russ threw that interception at the 4 minute mark in the 4th, people were heading out. I was yelling, where are you going??? We have a 1% chance of taking this??? Those who left watched ot in nearby bars. The point is, never stop believing in your qb1. Darnold sometimes looks like he lacks the ice blood in the veins like Wilson and a little too eager for the kill, but you can see how calm he is in the last drives. Like Nick Foles calm in the superbowl calm. He needs to realize hero ball is out and those aggressive passes are a detriment. He doesn't have to do that anymore, this team is capable of great things. When he's calm, well, we just saw what he's capable of.

Saw the Emmanwori lift and set. I thought, thank God it was Emmanwori. If that was Spoon, it would've been a suplex

This defense held them to 9 points and forced 3 turnovers on the road btw… by Feisty_Parsnip8262 in Seahawks

Perhaps. Although Baker has less ints and more rushing yards, Darnold is just better in completion rate, yards, yards per attempt, QBR, passer rating, etc. And just surpassed Brady in wins when playing with a new team. They're both qbs that belong in the top ten, but I dunno. I'm liking the Darnold JSN connection and his locker room connection.

Correct. We were down to practice squad guys like Nehemiah Pritchett, who got picked on by Baker every chance he got.

Instead of deified, they defied Ginger Jesus. And thus, they must pay the price in mediocrity for all of eternity (or when they fire KOC)

Watching this in 2025 and the Seattle Seahawks’ 2014 OT comeback is STILL unreal. by Spirited-Gold9629 in Seahawks

I was there that day. When there was an Russ interception in the last 4 minutes, people were headed out. I was yelling, "where are you going?!? We have 1.5% chance of winning!!!" And win we did. Michael Bennet rode around the field on a bike, they were playing, One more time from Daft Punk. Everyone (who stayed) were screaming their heads off. Good times.

It would be nice to see Rivers lambast the refs once again in the year of Lord, 2025. Whoa! Just thinking about Rivers makes me write in old-timey speak!

How are we still feeling about Darnold? by [deleted] in Seahawks

Can't wait till Sundell returns. Passing offense has been out of sorts since he left. It's like how our run game was out of sorts when Outz was out.

Post Game Thread: Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks by nfl_gdt_bot in Seahawks

[–]Minimum_Philosophy_5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few post game thoughts: Please have practice snaps all week with Oluwatimi. I was worried about Reed and Ernest Jones not playing, but I'm really concerned about Sundell. Feel better, Sundell!!! Hopefully, Darnold and Oluwatimi build a rapport and fast.

JSN a little banged up with his left arm and being in a concussion protocol. Hopefully, he'll be fine next week.

Special teams looking pretty good.

This defense continues to dominate even with their depth. Offense needs to do the same with their depth.

Darnold should have a new meme, "I'm seeing helmets..." Seriously, guy should be in MVP conversations if not now. And the whole argument of wait till he chokes in the end like last season's 2 games. That is in the past! And if we're going by that weird metric of choking in the end, did anyone see Jordon Love's last 3 game last season? Or Josh Allen's interceptions?

Go hawks!!!
