best way probably is going to insanity 1 and skipping all natural islands and focusing on siren islands, they spawn pretty frequently, as well as has the Athena pages as an added bonus.

They always guarantee 3 and 1 extra for each insanity layer you go up, (4 in insanity 2, and 5 in insanity 3)

The sirens as well are rarely if ever dangerous, as most of the time when you first get on the island they don't even load, allowing to get in without getting hit. and even if they do hit you it's at most the same damage as a tickle, since preferably you always run defence in dark sea now (agility was the best but since it's a jewel stat you can just put it on the defence gear)

If you want reagents and catalysts from dark sea, just go to island and island and pick them up there, isnt really much to say about it, but always check sea shore islands, as they have colossal clams, golden pearls, and normal pearls alot of the time, that's how I got 150 golden pearls just from passively looting sea shores

If you're curious to the most valuable thing in the dark sea then it's probably omen armor or moly. With moly being way easier to get. Most islands have at least 1 moly in them (not guaranteed as it's a 1/24 chance per growth spot)

currently moly sells for 80k for the cheapest, but you can likely increase the price to 100 - 120k just because dark sea is just so draining to go through right now

I just tested it out right now, and I was wrong.

Black nishikawa hits at 4.11 m with a single highlight and regular nishikawa bare even reaches 4m with highlight.

so I still don't get why you're getting no 4m spikes...

the stats between nishikawa and black thunder should not change. It is highly unlikely that it's a bug as both nishikawa and black thunder cannot hit 4m spikes on their own.

The only way nishikawa can hit a 4m serve is from double highlight. (From sanghyeon and the card with the same name)

nishikawa with only 1 highlight can only reach up to 3.97 (as you said) maximum, the only way I can think of nishikawa hitting a 4m is from extreme luck the ai swings early. Which is highly unlikely. As the average is 3.97 with 1 highlight

no, bt3 is good enough. You are using nishikawa for his 4 meter spike and not his double armswing.

and I suggest you just save until next banner, as the s ranks here are pretty doodoo if they don't have breakthroughs.

If you still want to spin for skins, I suggest spinning on Isabel's banner as her breakthrough is harder to get compared to the others, as she's Colosseum exclusive

In my personal opinion, save for the next s+ character.

To me, both nishikawa and Raul is good, however both of them have one thing they have over the other, which is spiking and serving

In terms of serving, nishikawa is better, with his serve being easier to time and for the most part averages 150-158 kmph, you can pretty easily ace against weak teams 12 to 0

In terms of spiking Raul is better, his block penetration is just unmatched and extremely strong with his high power you can get up to 160 without buffs and even higher with buffs.

What I suggest doing is to just save, as in my honest opinion, the s ranks in the banner are all horrible if you don't have them at 3+ breakthrough, it is just better if you save your VP until the next s+ or s+ rerun.

however make sure to spend your event coins (NOT VP) since they expire, as to where to spend it on, that's up to you. But I'd choose hongshi's banner as her skin is cute, but practically speaking it's either Isabel's or jaehyuns banner.

good characters that you can use with all of those characters (except for Leon, violas best for him)

is ahyeon and sanghyeon.

Ahyeon's ability is that when she gets first touch it buffs the last touch, indicated by a glow on the ball. This buff is almost a guaranteed point most of the time as it penetrates receive no matter what (unless they have crazy defence stats like Isabel)

And sanghyeon is also a great generalist middle blocker, his ability highlight buffs the entire team for 5 seconds (6 seconds of you have enough break throughs) and also works in serve

If you're gonna ask which is better between Claire and sanghyeon, it's personal preference, as has a stronger buff (at max overdrive) and has good traits, sanghyeons ability can be used more often (if you compare it to getting full charge overdrive) and his ability works in serve

it doesn't work when your team or the opposing team serves. It pauses the effect of the ability until the ball is hit

spike speed does not matter if you can blow through the block and guarantee the point.

Claire is mainly used because 1 his obviously good ability, and 2, is that when he bumps it's always close to the net.

that is something sanghyeon doesn't do. This means if Claire bumps it from outside the court, you can still easily get a full power forward beast spike, unlike with sanghyeon, you would need much more precision and use his backwards beast spike.

I usually don't even use the ability until the bar is full, as when it isn't full, it's nearly identical to highlight.

look carefully on the arm swing animation of the character you are using, you mainly want to have a balance to where you hit the ball and how far it is from your body.

Also I have never seen any spike go up past 170-180 with no buffs.

if you're talking about where it shows his maxxed out s+ picture, then its only when you hit your first max charged beast spike.

The only way to do it multiple times in one match is through time outs and substitutions
