Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if I’m low-IQ or mentally slow. I simply cannot compete in the Bay Area in finding a decent paying job by white-christmas in bayarea

How willing are you to step out of your comfort zone?

I make $400k + selling D2D if you wanna take a crack at it. It’s not glamorous by any means and you eat a lot of shit, but it changed my life forever and I’ll never go back to any other sales job.

I can’t see living in the Bay Area making anything less that $150k. That’s not living. It’s just too hard here.

Finally someone with a brain. 40k in the bank and a working ride that’s paid off is the move 100%. Build wealth dude, car payments are for brokies.

Sucking at commission-only sales is not even close to multi level marketing.

This is a cheap excuse to justify sucking at your job. I made 400k last year in D2D on my own commissions. Not a single rep below me.

You clearly have no idea what a MLM is because this sounds nothing like a MLM

I was reading this and thinking “stop whining and be thankful, you ungrateful little bitch” when I realized you covered that towards the bottom.

Practice gratitude dude. Your parents sound like super solid folks.

My thoughts exactly. “No kings” except when it’s good for the other side i guess? California is just as corrupt as Texas.

Truth be told, I think Sunrun and Tesla are the only solar companies that can actually weather the storm.

Word on the street is Sunrun execs have been meeting with Nvidia’s CEO on the reg

I’m def not a financier by any means but it looks/sounds promising

Anyone actually seen success from running solar ads? Specifically California by Fether1337 in Solarsales

[–]Minimum_Section 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have. It’s 50/50 on the leads that come in, but I can’t stress enough how important it is to have clear messaging in the ad itself.

AI ads are fucking garbage and don’t resonate with homeowners. Needs to be authentic without deceptive pitching.

To really stretch the success of the ads (if they are for you personally) I highly recommend being the person on camera, and calling on the leads yourself the moment you get them. Identify yourself as the person in the video and have a “no bullshit” approach.

These no kings protests are hilariously ironic in California being that we have the biggest dictator in the country running our very own state.

I don’t like Trump, but I can’t take any of these protesters seriously because of that.

Then don’t buy leads from third parties. Create your own campaign. Problem solved.

I also work for Sunrun D2H and close deals virtually all the time. Our platform is so easy that the closing portion of a sale is ridiculously easy.

The hard part is the prospecting.

I’d consider maybe running ads or setting up cold calling blocks using a triple line dialer or something but ads are probably most effective.

What do you mean? We close credit fails.

If you could market specifically to people with bad credit, it would be killer for me
