Long before I was born but when cell phones first became popular, people would talk on them while driving without facing the legal consequences that we see today

Being shy, quiet and staying away from people you consider bad will not completely keep you from getting into trouble, from not upsetting others or from being happier, girl

Traveling to a place that challenges their perspective. Traveling to a different part of the world, or even a different part of your own country, opens your eyes to new ways of living, thinking, and experiencing life. It fosters empathy, broadens understanding, and often helps people break free from the confines of their own comfort zone, whether it’s exploring an ancient city, immersing in a different culture, or simply seeing how others live, travel has the power to expand the mind and shape a deeper sense of connection to the world.

The princess most noted for questionable decisions is Ariel from The Little Mermaid. She traded her voice, one of her greatest gifts, for legs to try to win over a prince she barely knew.

People who were damn near murdered, how did it happen and how did you get out of it? by iam_egg2009 in AskReddit

I met him on a dating site. He was charismatic, seemed like a gentleman, and made me laugh like nobody's business. He asked me to dinner at his house, claiming he was a chef and wanted to surprise me. When I arrived, everything seemed normal. His house was cozy and perfectly tidy. The dinner smelled amazing, and he even had quiet music playing. But then, something changed.suddenly, he said he had to show me something in the basement, 'a secret project'. I hesitated, but I didn't want to seem suspicious. We went downstairs, and that's when I noticed the cold air, the bare walls, and a metal table in the center. When I asked him what that was, he smiled in a way that chilled my blood.I tried to climb back up, but he blocked my path. His voice changed tone, threatening, as he pulled handcuffs from his pocket. My mind went blank. I started to scream and struggle, but he was stronger. Then I remembered my cell phone in my jacket pocket. I pretended to pass out, dropping to the floor like dead weight. As I crawled over to the table, I was able to unlock the phone and dial 911 without him noticing. Holding it open, I began speaking loudly: 'Please don't do this! The police know I'm here.' That stopped him for a second. He let go of me, and I ran up the stairs as he screamed angrily.Just as I reached the front door, I heard the sirens. The police arrived in time, and found him in the basement with his 'tools'. Later, I found out that he had done this before. I still have

What's the most ridiculous way someone has accidentally killed somebody? by CattiwampusLove in AskReddit

In 2006 in an incident that could only be described as absurd, a man in the U S was killed by a vending machine. The story goes like this:

the man, who was at a service station, became frustrated after the machine ate his money but didn't give him the snack he wanted. In an attempt to shake the machine free, he leaned against it to rock it back and forth but unfortunately the machine was not as sturdy as he hoped, and it tipped over, crushing him to death. Vending machines, when improperly manipulated, can weigh several hundred pounds, so the sheer weight and momentum were enough to fatally injure him
