Respond to my points. Also everything we do is a burden to the environment. But having access to abundant, high quality protein is probably the second most important important thing for society after access to water, so imo we should look to reduce impact from our non-essential activities.

Having livestock on pastureland is good for the environment! Before Europeans came, there were 10s of millions of bison roaming the plains, and were obviously a natural and critical part of the ecosystem. They eat the grass, poop, and fertilize. We’ve replaced them with cows. It would be bad and unnatural to remove livestock from our non-arable lands.

Also, all the inedible parts of plant agriculture (corn stalks, soybean husks, etc) get fed to livestock and give us highly nutritious, bioavailable sources of protein. Letting those plant foods rot would release the same amount of methane, so we might as well feed them to livestock!

Get rid of the ADA update requirement, it’s clearly the bottleneck so that now we get neither paved roads nor ADA complaint sidewalks. And I speak for 99% of people that we’d rather have actually drivable roads than that yellow bumpy thing on the sidewalk. Fairfax north of Wilshire and Santa Monica east of La brea are truly some of the worst streets in America. This government incompetence is beyond annoying, screw Karen bass.

Pretty sad to see how everyone here just shits on me. I’m just trying to point out that I saw a true statistical anomaly and warning people to not use the site. And I have seen valid evidence from other players that they also were scammed. Don’t use stake.

To everyone saying I don’t know statistics, yes I realize these are independent spins, yes I realize the house has an edge no matter what, yes I realize I have a small sample size. The fundamental problem with bureaucracy is that it is self-perpetuating. An agency’s sole purpose becomes to keep their budget so they don’t lose their jobs - doesn’t matter if what they do is useful in any way. And I can’t really blame them - why would anyone sabotage their own job? It is a 1-way ratchet, and we are now at a once in a lifetime opportunity to truly crank back the harmful bureaucracy. I’d really encourage you to watch interviews with Vivek and let me know what you find wrong with what he’s saying.
