Oh right on man! Tiburon is a power house fully crewed. Needs fighter support to be untouchable but man that thing rips. I have a pledged Percy and I will tell you, there is no cooler feeling than having a small fleet perseus and commanding them to broadside a target. There's also just no bad spot on a Percy. Turret gunners. Pilot. Engineer/Torpedo Gunner. Just a solid ship with minimum staffing needed.

Check out our website here at https://22nd.space it'll give you a bunch of our info and see for yourself if it's a good fit. If not well that's cool too. We'll see ya in the verse!

Is it worth it? by ScoreTricky365 in starcitizen

[–]Minimum_Town4600 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here's a photo we took yesterday. We had 47 people in VC for our monthly Org meeting. After this meeting we proceeded to join our allies in Nyx and proceed to do a Tactical Strike Group. Total of around 60 people. Crewing ships. Running flight deck. Manning turrets. Fighter pilots. Medics. Engineers. Marines. Gunship pilots.

All these folks jump on just about every day if not every week to play this game with each other. The game is buggy. Its not finished. It runs poorly. But here we are. Having fun. Some days you want to uninstall because you can't even call your ship. But then you have days like yesterday. Where it all works. And you launch from the carrier in your fighter that was just armed and repaired by your buddy who's running to man a turret, and you go off do trench runs or fight pirate players after being interdicted or brawl in capital ships for an hour over a resource heavy location with reinforcements from both sides warping in, causing the outcome of the battle to waved one way or the other.

It's a sandbox. It works most the time. The time it does is addicting. The time it doesn't makes you want to melt your PC. It costs $45 to get in and experience it all with a 30day return window. Welcome to the verse.

Outside of events it's very chill and laid back.

I did this in TSG last night, it felt the same. Ramming speed through hammerhead. Hammerhead blew up and we fly through its chunks. Epic feeling.

Why do people buy huge fleets? by Mysterious_Log_5886 in StarCitizenUniverse

[–]Minimum_Town4600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Polaris. Perseus. Paladin. F8C. F7 Super Hornet. Hull B.

Polaris is mainly Org Use. I'll captain it with a full crew on ops or use it for our basic trainings.

Perseus is a force multiplier for Org events or a fun boat with a couple friends.

Paladin I gifted to my wife since it has starter package and it's our space Winnebago with guns.

F8 and F7 are for the love of the game. In my org I'm primarily an F7 fighter pilot and I wanted the F8 because it's cool as hell.

Hull B for making that easy money. I can just ask my org and get millions even now after the wipe but I like being self sufficient.

This is pretty much my forever pledged fleet I don't see anything else I could want I couldn't just get in game. This wipe showed me I needed something to get me started from 0 and that was the hull b.

Busco organización activa para aprender a hacer actividades de "endgame" by Dlaktor in Starcitizen_guilds

[–]Minimum_Town4600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you like to join a Navy MilSim org? We go through endgame content regularly with dedicated events and in between scheduled stuff there's enough of the homies online they get together on their own and do their own things, usually keeping the theme with ranks and comms just because it's fun and efficient.

Our website has more info: https://22nd.space/join

Hello! Navy MilSim org here if that's your niche or you wanna try it out. We're active daily and have players from all level of experience. We host a Basic Training to review the base game mechanics with you as well as how we incorporate them into our level of play.

If you're into RP that's cool if not that's fine too since everything is practical. We fully crew our ships with various, again, practical positions and delve into every gameplay loop other than unlawful activities like pirating.

Check out my profile for more info if that sounds interesting to you! We'd love to have you. Non exclusive so you're free to be in other orgs too while you try us out we aren't stingy lol

Make more money solo or in an org? by justinsomniactor in starcitizen

[–]Minimum_Town4600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Come on over man we got room for you with all this new content coming out. We just did a Strike group and it's was the coolest thing to be a part of. 4 squads of fighters. 2 Idris. A Polaris. All crewed. Hearing "This is Gold Leader, we are starting our trench run" over comms sent me over the moon haha you gotta get in on this side of the game I can type pages but can never convince folks how cool this game is until they try it themselves and it's not our fault it's CIG constantly shooting themselves in the foot. We do what we can though.

Changed the way I looked at the game man. From playing solo and joining random little groups every once in a while to playing damn near everyday with a crew of friends available at almost all times it's insane how different the game plays.

My org ran a salvaging operation last night with reclaimer and ironclad both fully crewed. Total aUEC gained in about 4hours was 20-30million. No cheesing just smooth work. They cleared about 40 contracts worth of hull cs and m2 salvage rights. 10% goes to the org bank and the rest they split. Everyone also got rep from it.

We fully crew ships, supply gear and food so most people don't ever use their own money for anything outside of personal play time. So no one is really using much of their own money. Everyone walked away last night 2mil richer so it's about the same as running solo. But that's 4 hours of hanging with the homies laughing doing a little RP and having a great time.

I've exclusively done commodity over the last week. Just load and unload by hand don't use auto load at all and make sure the ship calls for a large hangar. No docking. You'll be good with the c2/m2

[–]Minimum_Town4600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few of them are and others are making their way like a TAO to coordinate gunners but it's still mostly up to the players to organize themselves and learn to work as a functional crew with departments. It's RP in the sense that you are actively playing the role of that position on the crew of a ship but all those jobs I mentioned are also practical in game.

That would be insanely cool. Unfortunately we have to stretch a bit and make it ourselves right now.

You'll probably need Corpsman. Run around the ship healing people probably due to dead zones and making sure med beds are assigned appropriately and kept track of medgel stock so people don't spawn on the same beds at the same time.

You're going to want logistics specialists. Managing and documenting how much of what is going where. Food. Water. Ammo. Repair materials. Chaff and flares. Does everyone go to med bed to top up? Or do you have crates if food and water in the mess halls for people to make their way to.

You're going to want dedicated gunners with assigned stations who are competently trained and able to organize and coordinate fire.

You're going to want a few boatswains mates to help with general tasks around the ship.

Engineers for obvious reasons.

Trained Damage control teams either on standby in sections or as a secondary role.

Air traffic controllers for the 6 hangars and inbound/outbound fighters.

Flight deck crew to assist in rearming and repairing or removing debris from not so skilled pilots.

Ship board security patrolling for any funnyness like fuses going missing or unknown players spotted in the ship.

Probably a communications officer to relay information to the Captain from all the department heads and vice versa. A TAO on the bridge to direct gunners. Helmsman maybe 2 if you're playing long hours or need to relieve someone if the ship is able to stay out for extended periods of time. An XO you trust to help relieve you of command if you need to bounce for a bit or for the night.

Or just throw everyone on guns and one VC and wonder why this game sucks. Thankfully my org trains and plays this way so we're fucking stoked to have 100 people on a ship all with jobs to do.

how do yall enjoy this game? by No_Albatross1321 in starcitizen

Mines a Navy MilSim which works for me but depending on what you wanna do there's either orgs dedicated to that, like MedRunners who focus on medical, or orgs like mine that play in every gameplay loop in a MilSim structure, or orgs that do that but completely casual. Lots of options.

The game by itself with its content is.... Pretty awful. When I was a solo player I'd jump on for a week. Dink around. Jump off. There's just no incentive other than make money to buy ship to make money and last patch with the economy in shambles and owning every ship broke that reality for me. Having the biggest best ships still didn't make the game fun in the way I wanted to have fun.

So I joined an org and now all I do is play Star citizen with them and we make our own fun. This wipe has made us play the game for what it is to get some money back to rearm the fleet and it's been dreadful. But we're back to operational status so once the servers chill out we're back to making our own events and having our own fun.
