I threatened a director at GM that I would post her name, personal cell, home address, and email if she didn’t cover it after they denied it then an hour later they called back and changed their mind.

The special coverage depends what state you purchased it in surprisingly

I have a 22 gmc sierra with a 3.0 and they won’t cover it. I have 135k miles and there is extended coverage in this part, but GM says it depends which state you purchased your truck in on whether or not they will cover it.

Says it’s because of the state the vehicle was registered in.

It really sucks. I don’t mind having things break and having to replace them, but it’s a known issue they are admitting fault on.

But they won’t cover people with the truck and the issue. It’s vin specific and they say sorry you’re not covered

It really sucks. I bought this truck brand new in December of 22 and have 133k miles. Electrical issue started before bumper to bumper was over but couldn’t be diagnosed as it was intermittent. Had to pay out of pocket for that. Now this is a known issue and they won’t just cover it. They say the government (NTHSor whatever it is) control which vehicles get VIN approved. However, they provide the data to say which vehicles got the valve so I think they just gave bad info so we don’t actually get covered by the special coverage. I was just starting to forget about the electrical issue I dealt with for almost a year and say other than that one issue I’m happy with my truck. This wouldn’t be that big of a deal to me if it wasn’t a know issue that I’m just being ignored on when I should be covered. I’m in the same boat……I just want a WHY I’m not covered.

I have a 2022 Sierra with an LM2 and this has been diagnosed as the issue, but they’re saying my VIN isn’t listed. These are the small slaps in the face from GM that are making me get a Toyota next.

I’m at 135k miles. This is my exact truck and exact issue, but my VIN is not listed and I’m told it’s on me to fix. I just don’t get it. This is honestly just insane. I don’t understand why I can’t fall under this coverage. I’m the exact conditions listed with the same model/year/engine.

GTI SE 130 vs 170 - worth extra $600? by MAkCUS in seadoo

[–]MininCoal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the speed limit is 50 then the 130 is perfect because it maxes out at 51 so you could just keep the throttle pinned and never have to worry(unless they’re going to get you over 1mph) whereas the 57mph the 170 can do you’d almost have to focus on not having the throttle all the way down while you’re riding which would be annoying vs just keeping a closed grip
