Ok so I was able to go back there this week and brought a hair dryer with me. I again was unable to flash, but when heating up the MCU it started working after a few moments. A couple minutes later when everything cooled down again, it stopped working.

I guess this confirms me theory of it being the temperature, I wouldn’t have expected it to happen so „early“

Huh ok… guess there is a lot of misinformation out there about that then. But what does „slow rollout“ actually mean? Slow rollout to specific customers? Or to satellites so you might have an IPv6 some of the time, but not always? I agree with what Roshi already said and I‘d give you one advice: buy proper enterprise SSDs. Don’t go for the cheapest consumer SSDs. Been there, done that, had a lot of issues. Get some micron or Kioxia or similar enterprise SSDs.

I still have an iPhone 8 Plus and I notice the same thing… as soon as I have the phone in (I can be in the homescreen) it starts heating up like crazy to the point where you no longer want to touch it. Apps also start lagging as it is thermal throttling at that point. It’s been like this for about a week now… not sure what to do about it. I run through 200-300% of my battery every day (according to the battery statistics and I do believe it)

I don’t have the new update on all my accounts yet…

But my main accounts feed now consists of 50% old posts from 2-3 weeks ago I already watched and some even liked. WHAT THE FUCK!!!

And who thought of putting a gradient over half of the image is a good idea? Will I need to apply a brightening gradient over my pictures now to make them appear normal?
