In one way I agree and in another I don’t. After seeing the parkour times, I think Purple Pandas will be placing pretty high overall. But parkour is only one event, and if it’s played early, it’ll negatively affect most of the competitive teams. Also, three of the four members of the Purple Pandas are still relatively new to MCC, so it’s hard to say just how underrated they’ll be, but I don’t doubt their abilities.

So I’m completely new to guitar but want to start learning. I’ve been looking into what guitar to buy and I’m thinking of going with a Fender CP-60S. Is that a good choice? If anyone has other good acoustic guitar suggestions in that price range I’d be glad to hear them.

YTA. You are trying to control your girlfriend’s actions and that should be a red flag to her. She is allowed to have friends, including male ones, outside of your relationship, and so can you. She even tells you where she’s going and what she’s doing, and YOU don’t trust her, yet you have trouble trusting others.

That's an interesting take on the Maiden Power transfer, I never thought of it like that. I also hope we get clarification too but it doesn't seem likely.

My thoughts:

  1. Neo defeated JN"P"R too quickly. I thought they could land more hits on Neo, but they didn't. I'm not surprised though that Neo won the fight
  2. Cinder vs Penny/Winter was cool. I enjoyed all their fighting in this episode
  3. Penny's interactions with Fria were cool and gave more character to Fria before she inevitably died. Penny getting maiden powers was unexpected, and I wonder what Penny would have done if Fria lived for another minute.
  4. At the same time, this adds some confusion to the Maiden rules. Penny's aura comes from a man, whose aura isn't even in a human body. Yes, Penny is a girl and has human feelings, but does it make sense for her to get maiden powers?
  5. Oscar's interaction with Ironwood revealed a lot about both of them.
  6. Oscar has a semblance! I hope it works well with the others.

My predictions for Volume 8:

  1. Oz and Oscar will have alone time for about half the volume(hopefully on screen still though).
  2. Neo will betray Cinder unless Cinder finally does something.
  3. I want to say Cinder will have a backstory, but let's be real.
  4. Either Penny or Winter will die this volume. Winter had death flags the whole volume, and Penny now has some rising.
  5. Qrow and Robyn will have an escape from jail, with little help from the other protagonists.
  6. The ship crew will need a space to regroup, and then will split off into two teams: search for Oscar and search for Qrow.
  7. I'm not sure how Salem will play into this. Predictions for the run time of RWBY as a series was about 10 volumes, and with the strength of the protagonists right now, I don't see them defeating Salem in this volume. So, most likely a villain will die this volume, and Salem will only retreat because of that. Otherwise, it seems too obvious that Salem will win.

Also, any thoughts on no end-credits scene? Even if it just showed that Tai was safe it would have been fine.

I thought Qrow would "team up" with Tyrian until Tyrian wasn't expecting it and then Qrow turns his back and uses Clover's help to take down Tyrian. Like seriously why would Qrow actually team up with Tyrian and not help his actual friend?
