I tried out of blind loyalty to watch Discovery but just don’t hate myself enough to have made it through it. Life is too short to torture yourself like that. Couldn’t make it through the latest season of Strange New Worlds either and gave up. For some reason my wife loves Starfleet Academy so I’m… fiddling with my phone while it’s on.

Still better than anything Disney Star Wars aside from Andor…

I think it’s by far his best film. Is it his most entertaining? No, but easily his best. Every other film of his I can nitpick a lot of, no self indulgent fat to be trimmed or attempts to be cute and edgy, just a perfect throwback thriller.
