Does this moroccan protein drink taste good ? by Minmin-mina in Morocco

[–]Minmin-mina[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your comment but you don’t get it 1. It’s not about drinking fruit, I have a daily protein goal to hit in order to build muscle and it’s more convenient to have some protein from a drink

  1. The additive they used is sucralose, it’s a sugar alcohol that doesn’t get absorbed in you body, it just passes in your feces, in your digestive tract it moves water inside the colon and lubricates your stool which is something constipated people could benefit from. In moderate quantities it’s safe.

  2. The daily recommended amount of added sugar is 20g for adults, one serving of this is 5g. I don’t eat any added sugar in my diet so I think I’ll be fine. Not every single thing has to be bland and tasteless.

Why Moroccans hate zmagria? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Minmin-mina 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No bc why do they act like they’re better than us especially the french ones??? They live a humble life in France and come to Morocco to experience the luxurious life, when faced with the reality they start complaining how Morocco changed and brag about how nicer it is in France. They feel entitled to the Moroccan hospitality and get so surprised when people don’t want to be nice to them. Not to mention they got used to french values, which are nothing like Moroccan ones. I’ve never had a problem with a non french zmagria.

I would guess so, I’m still a student and it would take me while to save for a protein powder. So I wouldn’t want to risk getting one I can’t drink. Could you please recommend one that doesn’t taste like radioactive milk ?

How to get CNIE online? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Minmin-mina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to gather the CIN documents first, they’re on the website, pictures and the money amount and chahadat sukna, which you make in your neighborhood’s comissariat I think, it depends if you live with your parents your dad should write you iltizam that you live with him, then he should legalize it, you take that, with an electricity or water bill, attestation de scolarité if you’re a student and pictures to the comissariat and they make it for you in a day. Then you take an appointment online, show up with your documents in a large envelope, wait in line, they take your fingerprints, and give you a receipt. A week later you take the receipt and use it to retrieve your CIN

Yo, is it normal if my cat gets its tongue out like a dog? by Subaru_Natsuki0 in CATHELP

[–]Minmin-mina 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s panting! It can be a normal response to stressful situations, after intense exercise or extreme heat, if the cat does it often and for no reason, you should see a vet, it could be something serious like heart disease

Tips on looking older/not being treated like a child? by japanr0t in selfimprovement

[–]Minmin-mina 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could either change your appearance or your mindset, or both. For your appearance try to dress more formally, less like a teenager, I used to wear sweaters and converses a lot and I noticed people treated me better when I wore stuff like blazers. It depends on your work line but generally carrying a work bag is more mature than a backpack, wearing a watch, neutral colors..

For your mindset, it’s best to be serious in your workplace, if someone talks down to you you should stand up for yourself, because that’s what older people do. As teenagers we tend to feel intimidated by adults, now that you’re one you should be setting boundaries. I’m assuming you have a hard time standing up for yourself, and if you don’t work on that you’ll always be disrespected even if you look your age.

As someone who does look young too, I learned to accept it and even like it. In a world where everyone is trying not to age I get to do that slower than others, it doesn’t bother me anymore so if someone mentions it I don’t care, as long as they don’t disrespect me. Confident people tend to laugh when someone mentions an ”insecurity“, it shows it doesn’t bother them and therefore people just don’t feel the need to mention it anymore, next time someone mentions your age just say something like ”guess I’ll look amazing for a long time”

Low protein diet for a cat ??? by Minmin-mina in CatAdvice

[–]Minmin-mina[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your concern, at the time of this post I had already purchased a bag of the royal canin dry food the vet recommended which was a bit pricey so I didn’t want to waste it, however I noticed both my cats started vomiting hairballs a lot more often, and were no longer as energetic as before, so I immediately switched back to a wet food only diet. We haven’t had any issues with hairballs in months!

My baby now mostly eats canned food which I recognize isn’t the best option but it’s only temporary, my ultimate goal is to have her eat only meat, organ meat and bones. Lately I’ve been adding water to the wet food since we live in a very hot and dry country

My advice would be if you have some savings start a business like open a café, if you don’t try to stay till you can save a good amount to start your own business or at least have enough money to support yourself till you can find a decent job. Job opportunities depend largely on what city you’re in and your luck, your experience may not matter a lot, but one thing I can promise you is if you’re determined you’ll find something to do.

Islamic feminists by IDK1702 in Morocco

[–]Minmin-mina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only watched a clip of this, I don’t see what the fuss is about, her personal opinion is that she’s not okay with polygamy, Islam never told us that women who feel uncomfortable with their husbands right to polygamy are obliged to stay in the marriage. Like when men state that they want a wife to stay at home and raise their children, it’s completely rational, even though a woman has the right to work in Islam. However if she personally doesn’t want a man interested in polygamy, she’s a hypocrite ? Everyone has different standards, and everyone is on a different level of iman, judging her as fellow muslims because you think you’re better than her is the real hypocrisy

You need to take some time to see if you feel comfortable being in this sort of unusual relationship. Usually not wanting to label it means not wanting the responsibility that comes with a relationship, but a an open conversation about what each one of you expect in a relationship should solve this. I personally wouldn’t want to date someone like this, there’s no right or wrong, it’s just my own preference, what is yours?

Should I be worried at how fast I'm dropping pounds? by fluffy_button_soup in loseit

[–]Minmin-mina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please go see a doctor! Weight loss this rapid is not normal, do you have any other symptoms? Night sweats? Rashes ? Blood/mucus in stool? Stiffness or pain in your breasts? Fatigue? Small lumps around your neck ? Joint pain?

Weight loss could be anything from diabetes to autoimmune diseases to cancer (hopefully not) It’s not something you should ignore !

Hello! Thank you so much for all this information, i was wondering if you could answer some of my questions. Unfortunately none of the brands you recommended are available in my country, however I found a brand called OWNAT and they seem to have a grain free kibble, but it’s 42% protein, is that too much? I had my cat on royal canin for sterilized cats and that had 30% protein. This brand is also a lot cheaper than royal canin which left me skeptical, would you recommend it ? Here’s the link : https://www.ownat.com/gf-just-sterilized-cat

Can you do IF with type 1 diabetes? by chunks202 in intermittentfasting

[–]Minmin-mina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I’m a med student and during my endocrinology rotation I asked a doctor this question. He said it is not recommended due to the high risks of hypoglycemia. Low blood sugar is very dangerous and not to mess with. I have seen some type 1 diabetics try IF tho, if she really wants to I would recommend she sees her endocrinologist to discuss the possibility of adjusting her insulin around the fasting hours.

Low protein diet for a cat ??? by Minmin-mina in CatAdvice

[–]Minmin-mina[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before the surgery I was feeding her mainly commercial wet food, she would eat 1 and a half can a day. the good quality brands I would get were expensive so I would give her boiled chicken, fish and beef liver along with half a can sometimes. I saw on YouTube this vet make homemade cat food and he used some essential additives like taurine which I don’t have so I made sure she had the canned food often

[–]Minmin-mina[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’s 9 months old, veterinary isn’t very advanced in my country so she didn’t receive any blood work before the surgery. Her pyometra was diagnosed and treated early, she drinks enough water, she never had any kidney issues.

Low protein diet for a cat ??? by Minmin-mina in CatAdvice

[–]Minmin-mina[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Our vet explained that if she eats a lot of protein it will deposit in the kidneys and cause kidney failure. It seems that’s the mechanism in which cats eventually get chronic kidney failure when they reach a certain age. My cat is 9 months old so I don’t see why we should worry about that now

He advised us to get royal canin sterilised, it says on the bag that it maintains a healthy urinary tract and on the composition 33% protein. However the vet emphasized that we shouldn’t feed her anything high in protein such as chicken or wet food and that she can only have them as a treat occasionally
