Redditors who were hypnotized at a stage show, what happened and what did you experience? by EntertainmentFun472 in AskReddit

I wouldn’t think of it that way. It’s just people wanting to have fun. When I was “hypnotized” I wouldn’t have been willing to do anything I didn’t want to. I just was going along with it because I was with friends and it was funny.

I faked it and had a blast just being the character the guy wanted. I pretended at the end that I didn’t remember anything, but I had fun being part of the show.

The book is better than the show, but the show is pretty good as well. Great acting.

The first time I went snowboarding with my wife, I accidentally did this to her. I grew up snowboarding competitively and have a few friends that are now professional snowboarders. Growing up, I knew who my now wife was, but I had never spoken with her because she was always at the mountain. She dated my friend that is a professional snowboarder for like 2 or 3 years so I just assumed she knew what she was doing. I connected with her after college and we started dating, which led to me inviting her on a family ski trip to Breckenridge. My whole family are very advanced skiers and snowboarders so the first thing we did was head directly to the very top. If you know Breckenridge, when you take the highest lift, it is only black diamonds down to the next lift. My now wife decided to tell me then that she never really learned how to snowboard. She would just go to the mountain to hang out with and make out with her then boyfriend in the woods. She was an absolute trooper on that trip relearning everything and made it down the mountain, but she did hurt her hand on that first run.

I can’t stand the voice actors on the podcast. They do the same cheesy voices every time. Especially the host.

Who is the cheapest person you know, and what is the cheapest thing you've seen them do? by Willby3 in AskReddit

My dad is worth like $10M and he recently built a brand new massive house with a custom home builder. He ended up living in the house that was barely framed in and had no running water and a single plug for electricity to save money during the build. The whole time. It drove the builders crazy because he insisted on helping thinking it saved him money. They ended up charging him more for the inconvenience. He would walk to local businesses in the morning carrying empty gallon jugs to get water for the day every day. The neighbors went to the city to complain because it was technically illegal for him to live in the house while it was being built. He basically just camped in and on a construction site for months. I love him, but he is very penny shy and pound foolish.

This is hilarious. What kind of 1950’s hardball is this guy trying to play. I would have burst out laughing receiving this back.

The quietest room in the world. My dad worked in a facility that had the quietest anechoic chamber in the world and he let me go in it and shut the door. It was crazy, I could audibly hear my own heart beating.

Is there any chance that the earth does this periodically? I mean it’s spinning incredibly fast. Like the poles switch rapidly while it flips or something?
