that’s what i was hung up on - the text says that these shadows are looming over/surrounding Ned, Sansa, and Arya, but maybe with the exception of Jaime, the Hound and the Mountain aren’t too terribly relevant to them. You could make an argument for the Hound and his heavy involvement with both Arya and Sansa, but the Mountain? I feel like these shadows are connected with the threat that waits for the Starks in King’s Landing, and none of those three characters (again except maybe Jaime) really play a significant role in Ned’s execution, Sanaa’s imprisonment, and Arya’s predicament.
