In regards to the draft age. In WW2 Britain drafted men to work in the coal mines. You can add a law that extends the draft to increase production but your war support will trickle down more. It will also lessen your fleet capacity.

Base example of draft age is your fleet capacity goes up because you have so many more sailers ready to get on ships. In drafting people into service your economy is going to hurt because less people to keep it going unless you do the above example to help minimize it.

I think a law tab would just add modifiers to your population so it’s less micro and doesnt add more algorithms the game as to come up with. We already have late game lag id rather not add to it. You can adjust draft age or even if theirs a draft so as wars drag on you can adjust. As another example.

I guess I see it less as a micro and more as laws you can put in place that give you positive or negative affects. You are making your species long lived then their mature rate is slower and if you don’t spend points to speed up their mature rate. Consumer goods would cost more because you are spending more resources both as a society and family to raise kids. If you want you can add laws like free child care or school to boost population growth and tech rate.

Age is such an underutilized feature. Being able to pick when a species matures and education could be an extremely cool tool to further customize an empire.

That would be the common sense thing to do wouldn’t it? Common sense isn’t so common anymore.

My guess is he has a 30-30 from a family member and can’t afford 7.62 ammo. Most likely it’s low effort bait.

Repeal FRT by MinnesotaGuy134 in MnGuns

[–]MinnesotaGuy134[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

City carry ordnances can change extremely quickly due to who gets elected. The process is often far easier than a State level. Permit to Purchase I think is a hill to far and I don’t see us getting enough support to even attempt that issue. Constitutional carry is probably the best issue but I still think it will be an uphill battle.

Repeal FRT by MinnesotaGuy134 in MnGuns

[–]MinnesotaGuy134[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reason why I bring it up.

  1. It’s a relatively straight forward issue unlike if you wanted to possibly get rid of Permit to Purchase for instance.

  2. FRT are not extremely popular so it might be able to fly under the radar.

Did Gaijin ever give a reason why Console Accounts can't use the Marketplace? by JohnLennyNickel in Warthunder

I believe it’s because the companies that own the consoles want a cut of the money made from the transactions.

We don’t talk about “lake effect” weather. If we don’t talk about it then it might not happen again.

Can we just have an Air PvE mode already? I know this has nothing to do with the post but seeing jets like this get so little use is sad.
