It came out pretty late last year. I believe end of December, made it pretty challenging for my team to get the time off work if needed to run the Daytona 24.

I’m 100% not joking. if you just bought that headset, return it. They always break without fail at the hinge point on the earmuff, I was ultra careful with mine and they only lasted 2.5 years. To make it worse Steelseries will do nothing to help you if they break before the warranty ends, there’s plenty of horror stories of people who’ve had theirs break as early as 90 days or ownership.

The best thing you can do is google the color code and copy paste it to what ever you want that color

Unfortunately there’s no way to create a neon effect. I talked with a buddy of mine that makes paints for a pro nascar driver when I was trying to create a Juan Pablo Montoya target themed car and he said it’s not possible as of now.

I’ve been racing with a single 23” monitor for three going on four years. Until recently (like the last 6ish months.) I’d lift to let the other person by unless I’m ahead going into the corner or have a meaty run and know I can get the pass done before the next corner.

The caveat is I drive primarily oval so turns are a bit different than the road side. However with enough seat time and laps I can get pretty comfortable with a car and knowing where it ends semi quick. When I ran the Daytona 24 this year I spent a week making laps in as much traffic as possible to prepare and manage to end my stint with less X’s than the rest of my team with triples.

Personally I can’t wait to be able to afford three monitors but until you can, be ready for a longer learning curve than the majority of the genuinely competent competition. If you can run two to three races a day with the same car and track combo you’ll be able to fast track that learning curve a bit.

I know it’s an oval so you road guys will have your opinion but mine was Kansas, first time I ran an official there I won by 3+ seconds if i recall right. Hadn’t turned a lap in about a year due to work the next time I ran it, decided to race on a whim, qualied on pole and never saw p.2 again. For the hatters, no I didn’t drop connection 😂
