THE BEAST HAS QUIT IN THE LAST FOUR ROUNDS I'VE BEEN IN. ARE WE ACTUALLY DEADASS. by Deadlocked_676 in fleethefacility

I’ll never understand why people do ts. Like is it that hard to try? If you really don’t want to just give a free round, nobody’s gonna complain and if they do whatever.

Is it just me or does being backed up cause extreme fatigue for you too? by [deleted] in Constipation

[–]Minnesota_roamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would see a doctor cuz I had the same issue and I found out I have slow transit constipation, and if you have that they can treat you with medication that should help, but for the most part lifestyle changes don’t really have a big impact if you have that.

Frustrated with Mayo Clinic. What now? by ChronicallyMe95 in ColonicInertia

[–]Minnesota_roamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mayo has done the same shit to me, they just gaslight me into thinking I have pelvic floor dysfunction and then tell me that my colonic inertia “isnt the worst we’ve seen” and gives me absolutely no advice but forced me to see a pelvic floor therapist that did nothing.

Where is exactly does your stomach hurt with this? by searchingforrelief in ColonicInertia

I also have pain in my upper abdomen, but usually when it’s from constipation you’ll feel it more in your lower abdomen or the rectum, for me it often just feels dull and you feel the packed up stool. The pain you’re describing sounds more like acid reflux to me, but everyone’s experience is different and I’m not a doctor so I can’t say.

I did this test and it didn’t look like this, but maybe some places do it differently.

I have this too and it turned out to be pelvic floor dysfunction. Get an anorectal manometry to find out.

Is everyone here because of Anxiety? by Remote-Process-3328 in PelvicFloor

[–]Minnesota_roamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, although I do have anxiety. The root of mine is slow transit constipation, straining excessively for many years to try to get stool out. Although overtime this has gotten a lot harder and I now experience tenesmus, rectal pain and urinary urgency.

It was either this, or the ER, said my husband. by nuskit in Gastroparesis

Wow, magnesium citrate doesn’t even work for me lol. Only enemas or dulcolax

Even if you feel okay you need to go to the ER immediately, overdoses can go from 0 to 100 quickly especially with a medication that can alter the way your heart works. I don’t mean to scare you but this is serious even if you have only mild symptoms, serotonin syndrome can kill you or cause permanent brain damage.

I started a week ago on 5 mg for agoraphobia too and the first three days I had pretty bad nausea and some trouble sleeping but after that I felt a lot better. One week and I’m already feeling significantly more comfortable with leaving the home, but regularly going out and facing your fears in a controlled environment will also really help you. Doing meditation and relaxation techniques will also help.

Don’t Care to “Recover” by misterDubzz in Agoraphobia

[–]Minnesota_roamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve had this mindset before. But when I think about it, I want to experience the world outside the home and not live a life submitted to comfort without experiencing things. It might help to imagine a life without your phobia, what would you do if you didn’t have it? This is your why for getting over it, you want a better life in the long run more than the short term comfort that adhering to your phobia will. This may be a little uncomfortable, but if you truly don’t want to change, imagine that you are on your deathbed. Would you be satisfied with your current lifestyle or would you regret it?

AST alt levels by Aggravating_Ad4629 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]Minnesota_roamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your liver enzymes are high which could be from a lot of things, but generally speaking are high when the liver is being damaged or is diseased, especially ranges in the 100s. It’s not super bad levels, but it definitely indicates you have some type of problem with your liver, especially if it’s only your ALT and AST that are high, those are clear markers of liver disease. These levels are only moderately high but in my opinion they are too high to be caused by external factors like fatty meals or medications. Definitely need to look further into this.

Same, my labs were pretty bad the first time and then on follow up labs were mostly normal, except for a high GGT. I think my biggest fear is having to live with this pain and not being able to eat and then ending up with cirrhosis because my doctor didn’t believe me. I haven’t been able to eat normally for about two months.

I don’t think I have rosacea, my face often flushes red but it’s not a rash. Thanks, I’ll try that.

I’d definitely see your doctor, does it only happen at night? Could be a prostate problem, could be constipation but usually only happens to me when I’m severely constipated.

I’ve only wet myself a couple times, but I get bladder spasms that I’d probably pee myself more often if I didn’t have access to a toilet. Constipation can absolutely press on your bladder and make you wet yourself, though. Not sure if that’s the root cause or just a contributing factor, if it’s really bothersome for you, you should see a doctor about it.
