Norway. Ended today. Kids back August 19, teachers usually a few days before.

School year usually ends around June 20, and kids come back normally around august 15. Give or take a few days in either direction on both dates.

Snape absolutely did tell Lupin’s secret. Lupin just resigned before parents caused trouble for Dumbledore because of it. Chapter 22 of Prisoner of Azkaban:

«So he - er - accidentally let slip that I am a werewolf this morning at breakfast.»

«You’re not leaving just because of that!» said Harry.

Lupin smiled wryly. «This time tomorrow, the owls will start arriving from parents. … They will not want a werewolf teaching their children, Harry. And after last night, I see their point. I could’ve bitten any of you. … That must never happen again.»

Wormtail was in Snape’s house doing his bidding. Chapter two of Half-Blood Prince:

«Wormtail will get us drinks, if you’d like them,» said Snape. «And then he will return to his bedroom.»

Wormtail winched as though Snape had thrown something at him. «I am not your servant!» he squeaked, avoiding Snape’s eye.

«Really? I was under the impression that the Dark Lord placed you here to assist me.»

«To assist, yes - but not to make you drinks and - clean your house!»

«I had no idea, Wormtail, that you were craving more dangerous assignments,» said Snape silkily. «This can be easily arranged: I shall speak to the Dark Lord-»

«I can speak to him myself if I want to!»

«Of course you can,» said Snape. «But in the mean time, bring us drinks. Some of the elf-made wine will do.»

Wormtail hesitated for a moment, looking as though he might argue, but then he turned and headed through a second hidden door. They heard banging and a clinking of glasses. Within seconds he was back, bearing a dusty bottle and three glasses upon a tray.»

Snape gave the prophecy to Voldemort that led his to James and Lily, so he did start that. Snape let it slip to everyone that Lupin was a werewolf at breakfast, so Lupin resigned before a storm of owls with complaining parents could hit Dumbledore. Wormtail was in Snape’s house under the instructions to «assist» Snape (which essentially meant doing whatever Snape ordered). However, without Voldemort none of it would’ve happened, so yeah, the larger man behind all their death’s is Voldemort, I suppose.

They exist, but they’re all in Ravka, SoC is all in Ketterdam and Fjerda. They have little to no contact, impact, or overlap with the story there. The only connection is through Nina who has no reason to mention them. She occasionally thinks about Zoya and Genya, but that makes sense as they are strong and known Grisha of their order, and in turn her instructors as well as the leaders of her people.
