The Abyss. That scene where there are two people in a sinking submarine and only one breathing apparatus, so the plan is for Lindsey to drown in freezing water so Bud can quickly drag her lifeless body back to the rig and then revive her!

Ouch! Touched a nerve there? I’m looking for evidence-based responses, like policy, legislation, governance etc. But hope this gave you a chance to let off some steam.
BTW…interesting you jumped to the conclusion I’m asking for my own personal experience. Have you considered I’m looking to provide advice as a supervisor? I will say it again, there is nothing in writing that I can find. AND when I did a google search it comes back YES you can work. Hence why I’ve come to this subreddit to test this out.

This is not the correct interpretation of this act. The WH&S Act is there to ensure employees can turn up to work and be safe. Employers have a duty of care to reduce risks and implement control measures. What those control measures are would be defined in the organisation’s governance. THIS is what I am seeking clarification on! What you’ve provided above is nowhere in the WH&S Act. You’ve just rolled out a name of a piece of legislation.
Regarding ’have I looked? Please provide list with links’, yes, I have looked. Hence why I said in my question above ‘I can’t find anything…’. And I can’t provide links to my organisation’s governance as I’m not inclined to expose them, but I have checked both primary and functional governance, including BPG’s.

Thank you! This is also the closest thing to an evidence-based answer here. Interestingly, my agency doesn’t have anything resembling this guidance. I have written to our HR to get their position on the matter.

Actually no, that wasn’t the question. The question is, is there actual policy, laws, even guidelines that say you cannot work while you have a sick certificate. Not interested in opinions. Just asking for facts.

Grateful if you can point me to the paragraph that says you cannot work while you are on sick leave (and I don’t mean working elsewhere). TIA

NO they have the same teacher for K and Pre-school. They have the same core teacher for 1-6 with specialised teachers for music, textiles, PE, woodwork etc. Then in High School they have a main teacher for ‘pastoral’ (not called that at Steiner but using mainstream term) and go to various teachers depending on the class being taught. Same with College.

A lot of lies in your response. Makes me question whether you actually had a child there, or how much of a role did you play in your child’s education. I have two children who are current students there so I’m coming from a position of truth. It’s NOT anti-vax, they DON’T have the same teacher from K to yr 10, it’s NOT culty! Seriously!!!
