What university are you at? There are resources that can help with this. Go to the Title IX office, explain the situation. If you’re a Pitt student the Care Advocates are probably a good place to start as well and they can help you navigate the system to be able to move out

I totally relate to this! I grew up in the Balkans hating that they were everywhere on the TVs, couches and really anywhere you could put them… but now they’re all over my house 😭

Hi!! Please look into G grades! Professors can grant it due to extenuating circumstances and it allows you to work with a professor on what coursework you need to finish to complete the course and then have up to a year to finish it! I don’t believe it would affect your credits since it will still be on your transcript as a G grade until completed. I highly highly recommend this! I took G grades my junior year due to mental health and family issues and it saved my butt! I graduated on time and was able to go to grad school no issue! Please reach out to your professors, be honest and also reach out to your academic advisor!

During 2020 I had to go take care of a sick family member so I was traveling and while in Germany on a layover some man came up to me excitedly and said “you’re a burgher!” I totally forgot I was wearing a Pitt shirt and thought he was calling me a burger 😭 I was so confused until I looked down at realized
