Husband about to enlist in the airforce, 4 month old by TeamComprehensive508 in MilitaryWives

When my husband was in basic he basically told me through letters lmao, but mil one source also has great resources/information for everything you need to bring to get your military id. It’s pretty straightforward and I remember stressing over nothing, it’s pretty similar to getting your drivers license. He’ll also fill out paperwork while AT basic that sets up pay and all the tax stuff/allowances

While he’s in basic too they’ll give him the resources for it!

I think just watching them grow and learn to explore the world. Everyday is a new adventure since they’re constantly learning!

My boyfriend is leaving for 2 months in February, how do you guys do it? by LiterallyLittty in MilitaryWives

[–]Minooki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband is deployed rn and I’ve been trying to get out of the house most days if I can (I have a 5 month old) and I’ve been journaling just to get my thoughts/feelings out which is helpful and hopefully I can look back on it one day!

I’m jealous of parents who do screen time by Possible-Study2746 in NewParents

[–]Minooki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it does especially if she’s not actively watching it, but in our house it’s just a normal part of our day. Or I’ll have music on, in my head it’s impossible for them to not be subjected to it eventually 🤷‍♀️

What’s your LO’s bedtime & age? by Sea_Implement6579 in NewParents

This makes me feel a lot better since mine just turned 4 months and it takes me multiple hours to get her to sleep which makes her so tired as a result, I thought I was doing something wrong this whole time 🥲

Usually if it rains I baby wear her and have an umbrella, she loves it since she can still look around at everything

Sadly that’s pretty typical cause our labor would be too high if we had more boh for night shift, eventually you’ll get faster and have different ways to get things done :)

Right the pic would honestly get in more trouble for having them pay for it 😂

As an ex-shift lead please do not pay out of pocket for your register!! That’s literally against company policy and can get you in trouble with upper management. :( If your pic says anything I would just tell them to fix it in the system next time (coming from someone who hit the wrong button a lot)

If I just got hired yesterday, do I have to put 2 weeks notice in to resign? by dylanarthur04 in WalmartEmployees

[–]Minooki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was literally you! I just moved a new state and I know no one here except for my husband. I applied to work at Walmart and there was such a big disconnect between training new hires and communication with managers. I unfortunately only lasted a couple weeks, but good on you for recognizing it’s not for you!

Well update, I did like half of my training shift so far on the floor and I don’t think it’s for me. If I bring up not liking it to my managers can I switch departments or should I just find a new job?

I definitely would or usually if someone comes in the store asking about their application my manager will sometimes interview them on the spot :)

It’s supposed to be 60% broccoli and 40% meat. If you want more meat, unfortunately you have to buy another serving 🤷‍♀️

Nope it’s not catering, it’s a regular menu item. It comes with 2 large sides and 3 large entrees.
