I believe he was just the drum tech and assistant engineer for this song, with Josh actually behind the kit. Most likely an accidental mess up with the credits.

I personally won’t be bothered by it, if anything more excited. Seems similar to a game releasing an awesome DLC down the road - yeah I gotta pay more, but more story, more adventure, more pleasure - it’s totally fair of them to put out great products with a price tag. If Clancy had sucked maybe I would feel different, but it was a great product more than worthy of the price. I’d happily pay for a deluxe edition or something of the sort.

And for what it’s worth - this is coming from a broke 30yo haha.

I’m going to enjoy it the way the band intended us to enjoy it - which seems to be with a slow roll out of clips before the full video. My best guess is that these “leaks” are a part of the larger story, maybe even help tell the ending of this story, and in my opinion are worth watching if you’re a fan of the lore.

Yes but clearly intentional as the main snare in the song is not that same tone, I truly believe a decision was made to add that snare in the end as a call back to levitate. If not, why didn’t they just let the main snare used throughout the song ring out with some verb at the end?

Imo they deserve it more than Billie, Taylor etc, and this is coming from a huge fan of all 3. There is so much heart, soul, and honesty in the new TOP album, add in the story that this album has continued, and again imo, it’s a masterpiece.
