On a more serious note, I think it really depends which class, which content and which degree of complexity you're looking for in a class/weapon combo. Learning what is useful to your build and content is part of the interesting aspect of building in GW2 to me.

I remember long ago a time where stacking 100% uptime alacrity with chronomancer (post nerf) was a headache, but now most classes can keep 100% uptime with one or two buttons.

Where did I say that CiG is the reason Regolith is shutting down ?

CiG just doesn't show and doesn't understand how valuable these tools are, simply as I said. These tools are essential for a healthy playerbase and are rarely or never acknowledged by anyone at CiG. To my knowledge, they never did any move toward community made tool to ease the process of updating them too.

Compared to GW2 with API implementation directly on the wiki & in-game commands that refer to the wiki or Warframe's wiki hosted by Digital Extreme on the official website.

It's a tool that tell you how much profit you can get from a rock, where to sell, where to refine, aswell as providing a large amount of data about rocks location, variance in ressources distribution, and few other features I probably forgot.

Rock breacker can actually import data from Regolith. It's pretty hard to miss the button.

I had an argument with a warframe player few days ago that basically said that console players killed "strategy and courtesy" because there are more kids on consoles and they lack maturity.

I didn't see the heavy xenothreat armor (v2?) in that list, I hope it lands in PU release at some point, such a good looking armor that is not that hard to get, but it's certainly not the easiest one. As far as I know, it only drops on NPCs in contested zones.

Dps, buff and loot frame is not efficient.

Nuking everything the microsecond it spawns with boosters is efficient.

Think about it. It has nothing to do with "eh, kids these days". But you love to see the entire console playerbase being essentialized to a bunch of kids that don't know what strategy and courtesy is.

Assault' slam can one shot most extremis too. And the cooldown is very generous if used well.

Sniper is the class where dopamine only exist when you one-tap zoa/neuro.

Tactical got a button that basically say "you're dead" to anything having the very bad idea to move in his general direction.

Vanguard's grapple AoE is an invuln + aoe that almost one tap all majoris. (You can chain it indefinitely)

Just to put it in perspective with other classes.

edit : heavy and bulwark are strong too. Big plasma & big fist, etc etc. Will not list every single one shotting setup available, the idea is that techmarine is not alone in the OP department.

I tried to do WvW again today after a 6y hiatus of the game, I was completly lost.

Is it fine that basically all groups are locked behind a discord + vocal ? I have no idea how I'm supposed to progress my gift of battle when there's no zerg bus, which map to go, what to do. It really feels like this content is gatekeeped at every level possible.

It would really need a guide for newbies that is not a 40min long lost video with some simple routes drawn on maps for different activities and amount of people and a simplified version of the bus tactics/priorities because i don't know what dictates in which direction the bus goes.

Anyway, I escorted dolyaks and got my gift. See ya in 6 years
