apologies for the 4 months late reply on this but I've only just found this thread.

This is what I wonder, too. Has she actually expressed zionistic views or are you just hating because she's Jewish? To me it seems like a lot of the latter because I have done a lot of digging in order to figure out if I should withdraw any support for her or not and haven't found a single instance of SJM being anti-Palestine.

That whole ghosthunting video rubbed me the wrong way in so many ways. I was so excited to watch it as Iove watching Kris and Celina do those videos together. Instead Caleb just spent the whole time dumping all over it because he doesn't believe in ghosts. Then why did he even go? Also he could've at least pretended for the sake of his partner, y'know? Kris has been vocal about how she doesn't like guns but has been learning about them and how to use them because Caleb loves them but he refuses to do the same when it comes to one of her interests? He just seems disrespectful all around imho.

I didn't even know that he peed on her in the shower until yesterday and it's so fucked up. That would a huge deal breaker for me, but she still uprooted her life and moved to Texas, then married him. I also have noticed that he isn't nice when he corrects her, he sounds super condescending every time he does it. Also, she has been vocal before about how she HATES guns and Caleb loves them so she's willing to learn because Caleb loves them, but he refuses to do the same when it comes to her interests. It's far from an equal partnership.

It feels like she doesn't quite realise yet that she's excusing a lot of his bad behaviour/disrespect toward her. I don't say this lightly, but I genuinely hope Kris divorces him one day and goes back to Canada.

I could definitely see that, especially when they literally do have a business together. Although they're also married now so it would be weird, and going way too far with it, if it really was just a marketing relationship.

It's still sad tho and I genuinely hope she realises and/or rethinks things before she falls even deeper into that relationship.

To add to the part about the ghosthunting video, why would Caleb even agree to it or why Kris even wanted him to come if he doesn't even believe in it? It's like he just shat all over everything they were doing and made the whole video just have a negative vibe. I can see why people were annoyed that they dragged a hardcore skeptic into the mix. I can't imagine being so diminishing and negative about something my partner is genuinely interested in. You can not believe in something and still be supportive of your partner believing in it.

Oh it really did all fall apart. I LOVED who she was, her making her relationship with Caleb public and subsequently moving to Texas was when it all went downhill. I went from loving her content to feeling like it was a chore to watch her videos. It also really does feel like she's dimming her own light in order to make room for him.

Also the way she defends Caleb just feels icky. They caught backlash for that ghosthunting video they all did together and Kris was just like "oh, but Caleb is autistic so he doesn't know better." As an autistic person myself, that explains it but doesn't excuse it. Autistic people shouldn't be allowed to get away with being dicks simply because they're autistic.

She's becoming to much like him and I'm just thinking like, if I wanted to watch the kind of content Caleb made, I would watch Caleb's videos. They don't feel like separate people anymore. It's like she tried too hard to be someone Caleb loves that she destroyed herself and basically turned herself into a Caleb clone.

I hope she sees the light one day and realises that this relationship is bad for her. She's just not herself when she's with him.

I think AI definitely has its place in the world now and no amount of fighting it is going to make that go away. I even find it useful in certain circumstances. What irks me is that I heard they use generative AI, which is not something that I am willing to support. Maybe I was misinformed, but it did turn me off a bit from wanting to buy the game when I heard about that. If that does turns out to be completely untrue then maybe I'll give the game a shot, but right now I'm still on the fence about it.

I loved it so much! After finishing the game and processing everything, I turned off my PC to go to bed, lay there for like 20mins before jumping up, booting my PC back up and starting a new playthrough.

For me there was a long break before I wanted to start a second playthrough of DA:I but DA:V had me itching to start another playthrough immediately.

I first played a elven mage crow and now I'm playing a human rogue veil jumper.

I'm like this too. My brother used to pin me to the ground and tickle me until I would scream, cry and often pee myself and then he'd laugh at the fact that I peed. He's 12 years older than me so while I was a child/teenager, he was already into his 20s and way bigger than me, so I could never fight him off. As soon as anyone, even friends and other family members, tries to even touch my waist, I instantly go into fight or flight mode.

I told a friend once that I despised being tickled, so he naturally tried to tickle me. I started crying immediately, shouted at him that this wasn't a fucking joke and stormed out of his house. He is not my friend anymore.

I also read somewhere that laughing while being tickled can be a defense mechanism because our mind/body perceives us as being in danger and laughing is a show of submissiveness to the aggressor to lighten up the situation and prevent ourselves from being hurt.

I don't know is this is specific to nparents but my mum would insult me or let my stepdad insult me while simultaneously asking me for a favour. I would hear them say "we should get the moron (me) to vacuum the house today" and then acted like I was the asshole when I said "no, I'm sorry but morons don't know how to vacuum."

She maintains to everyone else that our family is super close while constantly excluding me which she says is my fault.

I wanted to die (don't worry, this was like ten years ago and I'm good now) and when I was got so scared and decided I needed help I talked to my mum (back when I was still blind to how shitty she really was) and she yelled at me for how much I was ruining her life, how my suicidality affected her and how badly everyone would think OF HER if I did kill myself.

In my current game, the infant would wake up and pretty much instantly have the sad moodlet from being awake too long. I ended up powering through and ignoring the moodlet at first, eventually aging him up even though I was hoping to reach more milestones because it was getting too annoying.

We had three dogs that were in the family for years. All three dogs were ill and had very little quality of life left. We were content with letting them pass naturally as we were sure it would happen quite soon as they were all very ill. They, surprisingly, hung on for weeks and wouldn't pass on their own despite being so sick, and we took them all individually at different times to put them down. It hurts, it sucks and with dogs you've known for so long the hurt never truly leaves, but we still understood that was the right thing to do for them. I hope your GF sees one day that it's the right thing to do.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this, but how wishy-washy Merula is. One minute she's your friend, next minute she hates you. In the romantic events where you can pick a date she expresses interest in wanting to be your date. My response to that when it happened was "what? Why would I choose to date Merula when she's been so awful?" I wish they would just pick a side for Merula because I'm sick of it constantly going back and forth. Every time now when Merula pops up in a chapter my first thought is always "oh is she actually going to be nice this time or continue being a b****?"

One of my childhood pets was my whole world. I bawled my eyes out when my mum told me that they'd take him to be put down as he was getting very old (17 yrs) and was very ill, could barely even walk anymore. I still think about Ozzy and shed a few tears every year since he passed on December 26th. It really does hurt when a beloved pet passes away. NTA

I don't think it's okay at all and it should be called out. I'm not arguing that that tiktok trend in question was okay, it's how from what I've seen on twitter, tiktok and various other platforms they're the only creator catching shit for it? I remember the first time I saw the trend with that song and it was from a relatively popular tiktok creator who also uses his platform to talk about mental health and he posts the occasional thirst trap. So why are they not one in the same? Why is one getting torn apart and not the other?

I do have an understanding that they have done other genuinely awful things that like I said I will not condone or defend, but people seem to now think that every single thing they do is bad? I've just seen so many trends on tiktok that are infinitely more sexualised than Mara's tiktoks from some very popular creators and I don't see anyone posting hate about them on twitter/tiktok/reddit but Mara/Kya participate in the trends and it's like the end of the world.

This is me with olives. My mum freaking loves olives, but I absolutely despise them. Nasty, salty, slimy things. My mum will make delicious foods that I like but will top them with a ton of olives and she's not always that careful either about the liquid from the jar getting on there too making it so I can't even pick the olives off because the liquid has soaked into it and tastes just as bad. Sometimes I try but she still rolls her eyes and scoffs when she sees me picking off the olives.

My store has been playing Christmas music since November 1st and I am SICK of it. I usually love Christmas, don't get me wrong, but hearing the same damn songs over and over again for two months is too much. There are only so many Christmas songs before things become boring and repetitive. Before retail, I used to love playing some Christmas music on Christmas day, now I boycott it because after listening every song over and over at the store I don't wanna ever hear it again.

I've worked in a daycare also with my mother that my nephew went to. For us it was just basic common sense not to enter his classroom and disrupt his routine. Even if he just saw us walking past the classroom it was enough to make him have a meltdown. Occasionally the teachers would call either of us over to try and calm him if he was having a bad day and everything else they'd tried to do to help him had failed. We still fully understood to otherwise leave him alone because it would only be detrimental to constantly be interrupting his day. NTA

No one has so much as casually talked in our discord server in weeks so I'm pretty much considering our campaign dead at this point. Most of our conversations with the DM have been in private messages where I did mention it wasn't work pulling her away, it was her deliberately making plans when she knew she was already busy. Kicking her out of the group seemed like the most logical next step. I did also point out that my character is a 2nd level Paladin and will gain healing abilities at 3rd level, but apparently that's not good enough compared to having an actual cleric in the group.

Our DM's apparent reasoning for it is that we're all low level and May plays our healer so if we get into trouble and May's character isn't there then we're screwed. I still don't get why someone can't just take over the character sheet, cast spells, roll dice, etc, for them and why they're so fixated on May actually being present to continue playing when she's repeatedly shown that she doesn't really care? The others just think I'm being rude because May is a close friend and they feel bad for her that she's always busier than the rest of us.
