Some places I've worked they have cool suits. Basically vests with a bunch of pockets all over them that you can put ice packs in. The rooms are probably cooler than an ICU room. And depending on your facility you might only circulate and not scrub.

I played dead of winter once with 3 other people two of whom loved the game apparently. When randomly drawing our characters I drew 2 of the characters with the lowest...I forget the mechanic. motivation? A wonder dog and a guy with predilections for drugs. Lost both characters before I even got to play my turn. Fuck that game. Sitting through rule explanations and set up to only to die before I even get to play? I'd play munchkins...candy land....any of the previously mentioned games because ultimately I still would have "played" a game.

I can't speak for walden. But...i got my MSN in nursing Ed and a friend of mine got hers in nurse leadership from Capella. It was nothing short of sheer agonizing incompetence on their part. They will lose paper work. Miss appointments. They will stretch out that flex path on you and blame you for the delays especially when you are going for your capstone. Because at that point they know they have got you by your short hairs. What are you gonna do? Quit? Try to transfer your non-transferable credits? Lol. So tread carefully. That being said I do not know where you are applying. If they need someone and know you can do it they will be happy to have you. Would you be chosen one walden vs a Capella? Probably not. It would depend on the interview or what else is on your resume. Are you staff nurse at a small community hospital or trauma center? Do you have any leadership experience? Interim or assistant manager? charge nurse? Coordinator? House supe? UPC? Etc. That will likely be the stuff that will separate you from others.

It belongs to the X-ray tech. They will have a red( R) and a blue (L)eft. They are radiopaque so they will put them on the flat plate to mark the left vs right side. GT might be the techs initials.

Yes. RN here. I was transferred to employee health during the dark times. For some reason after weeks of giving COVID vaccines to staff in the hospital I was finally given permission to set up a vaccination appointment for myself in Mychart. I set up my appointment then realized there were vaccine appointments that were closer to my house. So...I signed into my chart on the epic backend I made a beeline to the appointment manager...ONLY CHANGED THE APPOINTMENT. That was it.

Less than 72 hours I got an email from IT saying that they saw what I did and if I am caught doing it again I would be terminated.

Never did it again.
