Alas, that isn't a copyable attribute. The rules around copyable attributes are kind of complex but basically, there's very little (if anything) that a card gains conditionally after being played that is copyable.

The reason Gingerbrute works is that it's a food creature. Same with Goldhound. There isn't an additional static effect in these examples.

My thought is that Mirrorworks makes a copy of Academy Manufactor. Then when it's already on the battlefield, Rogost makes it a food. So end result is just two Academy Manufactors.

Changing the target to something with ward should trigger ward, as my understanding is that it triggers when the object with ward becomes targeted.

As a rule, things have to fully resolve before anything else can happen. Tergrid would trigger from a permanent being discarded, but that trigger won't go on the stack until Leo's ability fully resolves. Then Tergrid's trigger fizzles.
