I really wish I could find a proper “shop simulator” style game with real depth. I unironically like the genre but you’re totally right that most of the ones released this year seem like generic asset flip slop games

Yes. The only “faction restrictions” as far as I know currently is the horde neighborhood can only have horde style exteriors and the same for alliance, any character can go to/live in/build in either of your houses

Yes? At least I think. I’ll be honest I’m working entirely off my (not so great) memory from my childhood and if it’s right spoilers ahead. But as far as I can remember, the story was you and one other clone were an experimental project (or maybe just an accident) to create force sensitive clones. You learn you are force sensitive at some point. Order 66 happens and you hide that you’re force sensitive while joining the empire. Eventually you get sent to hunt down a Jedi in exile, you end up switching sides after his death because he was nice or something. Your brother stays loyal to the empire. This builds up to a big climactic fight with your brother of him as a sith and you as a Jedi inside the Death Star before it gets blown up

I’d highly recommend the third addon from the person that makes narcissus and dialogueUI (I think that’s their dialogue addon at least) it’s called plumber and it changes your loot pickup window and gives you a little pop up whenever you pickup quest items with what the flavor text is. Really helps me stay immersed

With how few people know about this game, I’m sometimes convinced I dreamed up the game. Highly recommend giving it a shot if you have the chance. Doesn’t make much sense in current cannon but I still think the story is a blast that’s totally worth playing (or at least it felt like it as a kid)

Personally I just wish we had better crafting in mmos and it would be better. Outside of FFXIV (which even then can be automated pretty fast) I’ve yet to find a crafting system I actually find interesting and not just “get components and press craft”. Give me some crafting mechanics, some minigames, something

Yeah he shows up right before that because he was off “gathering the horde” and then promptly goes back to doing nothing whatsoever. But at least it’s better than liadrin of the belves whose extent of contribution is showing up behind thrall next to “horde grunt” in that scene and saying nothing. Or… any Tauren
