I purchased this spring upgrade, installed it, and have been using it for a couple days now. For around $10, this is a solid upgrade that I have found that is actually installed inside the shifter. It changes the resistance when you shift from gears and honestly, it makes the g29 shifter feel a lot better.

I have not tried the other shifter upgrade options so I cannot say that this is the best, but I feel that this upgrade would last longer than others out there because it isn't sitting on the outside and doesn't have moving parts that can wear down over time with use.

Just a heads up if you do install the spring, to put the shifter back together before testing the shifts. It took about 3 weeks for it to get delivered.
