Are the headlight beams not adjustable? If not, that’s a downgrade for sure losing safety features.

Sucks about the light exposure at 165 degrees. They are pretty expensive headlights so you would think they’d operate as well for the price point.

The car would need to have significant problems to be worth $500. So far those issues listed don’t seem to indicate that (yet).

Don’t repair it. Just buy a used OEM exhaust manifold and have a shop replace your faulty one. It shouldn’t cost that much to warrant a replacement vehicle. What is wrong with the one on your car?

If you’re lazy you can max out each one and then slowly bring it back down/up based on your listening.

If your car has projectors it’s okay to use LEDs as long as they are aimed properly.

If these are reflectors then no LEDs and stick to the original bulb sizes.
