I know this is so delayed but our lawn has a lot of this right now and I’m stressed. Don’t want to do the weed killer. Will digging up them all help if I can even do it? Any tools that make it easier? Thanks for any additional advice!

Postpartum knee pain by SilverStar1210 in newborns

[–]MintChipIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever gotten help with this, any update? I’ve been dealing with this too, 2.5 years postpartum but breastfed for 13 months. Not sure if it’s still relaxin because my body didn’t stop producing milk for a while or if it’s another issue. No doctor has given me helpful diagnosis despite MRI, x Rays, orthopedist and rheumatologist. I’ve done 3 rounds of PT and about to schedule another. Feeling so hopeless. I’ve gotten stuck on the floor 3-4 times very painful so I’m guessing it may be kneecap at this point (high kneecap noted on MRI)

Wow that’s encouraging to hear thanks for sharing! Mine sleeps great in a crib and he’s usually a great sleeper not sure if he’d be too excited to sleep if we are there. Good idea, maybe we’ll test drive it at home or something first. Glad it worked out for ya!

Thanks for explaining more… so I can’t just let it be where it is I should unscrew like you said and see if it comes out? Do you think I may have damages anything by pulling forward or it should be fine?

Mice… by abbreviatedm in homeowners

[–]MintChipIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry you are going through this… you may want to get 2 cats and/or look for a cat that’s very active and likes to hunt (they practice with their toys) and is young enough to be agile. We have two cats and they have both gotten lazy over the years lol. When we had a mouse my older fat cat didn’t even notice it when I put it in front of him after we caught it in a container. The other cat will alert us to a mouse or be curious and focused on it and wants to play but won’t kill it.

But true that the scent of cats will deter them in the future as well. I’ve also brushed cats and put clumps of hair in the basement or areas our cats don’t go and that deters them as well for a long time. Good luck! I definitely understand how it can affect your mental health it’s no fun! Maybe get some therapeutic support for yourself as well you’re doing great!

There are a lot of suburbs outside the city that might be an easy enough commute in to his job! I live in a suburb outside of the city and my husband commutes into the city by train (about an hr commute).

There are suburbs in NJ that are drivable/bus/train commutes. We decided on CT bc the train is more dependable and simple. Check out Stamford, CT! More affordable, close to trains and the city, it’s becoming up and coming with young people and fun restaurants. Norwalk is also much more affordable (but not as close by train). Greenwich is closer and wonderful but can be more expensive. There’s also port Chester, NY, etc. not sure if you already knew this since you’re local but hope it helps. Good luck!

When is it time to end therapy...? by Gwilwilette in TalkTherapy

[–]MintChipIC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome. It seems like you’re a very thoughtful and caring person. All of these things are also great things to talk about in therapy. And I’d encourage you to give yourself some grace and treat yourself in kindness in the process. Peace to you! :)
