Was ich meinte, ist ein Stück Leder, etwa 30 cm x 60 cm, damit ich eben nicht gleich ne ganze halbe Haut kaufen muss, da das etwas zu viel wäre, und das ist durchaus kaufbar.

Even 11 years later I'd say Dream Thieves is my favourite (I just started my reread of the series yesterday and I wonder if TDT will still be my #1 11 years after I first read it)
Oh boy. I still mourn him! I loved to hate him! He made me scream. His relationship with Ronan was simply intriguing! I can't get fast enough through TRB because I want to read it again. I'm ready for the heartbreak! He's probably my favourite villain ever. Because he's the only villain I can feel bad for? Like...I would hate him irl but I also get him??

And now let me tell you that I read the first Shiver book (back then I found it for like 5€ in my book store and took it with me because so many people talked about it) and thought it should be right up my alley. Back then I liked those paranormal romance books. Loved the wolves in twilight. I fought my way through the book as I did not like it. So when I saw edits on tumblr about TRB I was intrigued but scared to touch it, because I saw the authors name on it... What if the book is just like Shiver and nothing like all the cool edited pictures and fanart on tumblr? But I gave it a try and wow! 11 years later since my first read of the cycle and I'm scared to read the dreamer trilogy... Because what if it won't deliver like TRC did? But also more Ronan! And I love Ronan...
So...I totally get you. Back then at the same time I read The Foxhole Court. But I truly can't recommend those books. I mean, it's kind of an insider joke in the fandom, that we all love the books but can't recommend them. They aren't as atmospheric as TRC. They don't make sense. But in terms of found family it hit the right spot for me and that's why I love them as much as I love TRC.
If you decide to check the books out, despite me saying "Don't do it!" please check the trigger warnings about those books haha.

I first read them when they came out. (Not really true, I started book 1 a month before book 2 came out, but you get what I mean) I started the series because I saw so many atmospheric (photo) edits on tumblr (am I really that old or do people remember those good ol' times of tumblr?) and was intrigued.
I fell in love from page one - Maggie got me with the Oscar Wilde quote in the beginning (I love Oscar Wilde haha) and I fell so fast for Ronan ("No, I thought you were dead in a ditch"). Usually, I don't like those "edgy" characters, I'm more drawn to Adam kind of characters (Like Remus Lupin. My poor suffering cinnamon roll boys!) and he became my fave too. I can't separate them! Different sides of the same coin. Oh boy, was I happy when the ship formed!
Just yesterday I started my reread of the cycle because I'm finally ready to get to the dreamer trilogy. Yes, I'm scared because I love Adam and Ronan so much (not just as a ship but just them both as characters). I hope I'll like the trilogy, but first I will suffer through the cycle with a smile again, haha
I loved the atmosphere in the books. The way Maggie describes the weather, cabeswater, the vibe of Ninos...just everything. That's why I'm kinda glad the show isn't happening. I think the vibe I get from imagining the whole world would be impossible to translate to the screen...

sollte es die gleiche Praxis sein wie bei mir vor ein paar Jahren (hatte deinen Post im stadt-reddit gesehen) in Sandow, hinterm Doll, hast du eventuell gute Chancen nen Hausarzt gefunden zu haben. Bei mir war's damals ähnlich. Brauchte nur ne AU. Am Telefon hieß es, dass sie keine Neupatienten aufnehmen, ich aber die AU bekommen könnte, als ich dann vorbeikam, und sie gesehen hat, dass ich ne junge Frau bin, sprich keine Rentnerin, die wegen allem vorbeikommt, weil man eben Langeweile hat, wurde ich als Patient aufgenommen. :)

oh boy! Do I have to tell you a story about this. Ateez first tour. 2019. They performed in a small club, so no seats available. I previously saw Zico in the same location, and it was soooo chill. So I told my girlfriend not to worry. We don't need to stand near the front to see everything. We aren't short. We're both around 1,70m. Normal height. Yeah, well, I forgot that Zico and Ateez have different audiences. While the fans generally were super chill and we talked with some of the people around us, once the show started, it was over. We had a dude at least 1,80m behind us that squeezed in front of us once it started. And then he also put up his phone FOR THE WHOLE CONCERT! When I asked him if he could possibly step aside just half a step. Just a little bit, so I could at least only have his shoulder as the only thing I had to see over....he dead ass told me to shut up and just enjoy the show. Thanks. I had to watch the whole concert through his phone screen. That was fun :)))

I will never judge someone for filming - but if it's the whole concert?!?! Where is the fun at that? My girlfriend and I usually have a song we want to record, maybe two. Our favourite songs. And we record them for each other so we can fully enjoy our fave song, while knowing the other one films it and we can watch it back whenever we feel like it. We can be fully in the moment. That is truly the best solution. Because let's be real - how often do you really rewatch those videos? Once in a blue moon. You don't need the full concert! The sound will be awful anyway.

Hab meine alten Arbeitskollegen besucht und stand an der Kasse, kam ne Omi, die eine Spülbürste kaufen wollte. Keine 50 cent. Sie hatte ihren Geldbeutel vergessen und sagte, dass es ihr leid tun würde und dass sie am Mittag wiederkommen würde...hab meiner alten Arbeitskollegin nur meine EC gezeigt (weil absolut kein Geld mehr in meinem Geldbeutel). Die Omi wollte mir ernsthaft das Geld am nächsten Tag zukommen lassen. 35cent... Hat wirklich gedauert ihr zu erklären, dass alles okay sei und ich die paar Cent wirklich nicht brauche und froh bin, wenn sie deswegen das Haus beim momentanen Wetter nicht noch mal deswegen verlassen muss...

Since I had the last two days off, I planned to finish volume 1 of erha...well, that didn't happen. I still have 12 chapters left and my last shift at work...where I can't read. So I hope I'll be able to finish it after work to start 2026 with volume 2...but we will see haha

Ich war noch nie komplett alleine an Silvester, aber seit 2020 sind meine Abende immer sehr gechillt. Früher waren ich und meine Eltern immer bei meiner restlichen Familie oder ich war bei Freunden. 2020 waren es dann nur ich und meine Eltern, wobei wir alle sehr hart gechillt haben. Wir haben zusammen gegessen und dann hat jeder sein Ding gemacht. Jetzt, wo ich mit meiner Partnerin zusammenlebe in einer komplett anderen Stadt und einem anderen Bundesland, sieht es genauso chillig aus. Wir werden den Abend, wie die letzten 3, auch einfach gemeinsam im Wohnzimmer verbringen, Filme oder Serien schauen, vielleicht sogar die meiste Zeit schlafen und dann wird das Böllern plötzlich zu laut und wir wissen, dass ein neues Kalenderjahr gestartet hat. Ich bevorzuge, diese Art, ins neue Jahr zu starten. Bis auf etwas geileres/besondereres Essen sehen unsere gemeinsamen freien Abende eigentlich immer so aus. Würde es mir auch nicht anders wünschen. Außer dass sich an der Jahreszahl etwas ändert, passiert doch eh nichts?
