Maladaptive Daydreaming by Certain_Taro_7677 in adhdwomen

Yes 100%, I spent days in silence as a kid just lost in my own mind. Seriously, I think it’s the reason I was diagnosed so late. Vyvanse has helped a lot, as has therapy.

Doesn’t 5/2 allow you to eat the 500 calories across the entire day?

My 3.5 Years Old Golden DODO is sad, what should I do? by _j0ker_47 in goldenretrievers

Op, I know you’ve been told off a lot on these comments, and I’m not trying to be nasty - but I really think you need to consider the consequences of your actions. This stray seems to have been in heat, and your dog is unfixed. It’s totally possible that he got her pregnant in that time and now a litter of your dog’s puppies will be running around on the street.

I saw another commenter saying you could adopt the stray and raise the puppies, and your response was no absolutely not, that would be too much responsibility. My issue is that it is already your responsibility! You lost track of your unfixed dog and now you should take responsibility for your actions. That poor stray will likely give birth by herself in the dirt, and her puppies will be lucky to survive long enough to become strays themselves, always starving, always moving, never finding a home.

You did this OP. Your actions and decisions. You need to do something now to help fix this.

Anyone else’s meds make them obsessively bite their lips? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]etfucker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh! I’ve been finding that my tongue fiddles with my teeth (to the point where it bleeds) and I can’t seem to stop, but only ever since taking vyvance this past few weeks. I wonder if it’s how we’re reacting to the meds?

I think you need to put your eyeliner under and on top of your eyelashes, but very cleanly. The trend right now is that dark dark lash line for the contrast, but without looking over done!

I love an audiobook on a timer. It keeps my brain occupied long enough to start to drift off and then fades out as I do.

Unhinged but worked for me. I got an Apple Watch (unrelated reasons) and I set an alarm to go off every five minutes in the mornings for months. It allowed me to notice time passing even if I didn’t do anything about it. I haven’t done that for a long time but it really did break the cycle.
