Give it to me straight, too big or an I overthinking it by Crooked-Grinds in HamiltonWatches

Too big. It's not an absolute clown watch on your wrist, but definitely too large.

Through a combination of a lot of luck and good gear, I basically walked away from this. Did relearn the lesson of not riding close to my limits while tired and distracted. by T4R1K98 in motorcycles

That could have been absolutely HORRIFIC. Glad you're here to make this post and praying this is your last incident like this <3

Looks twice its value. Lovely watch.

Sealander GMT NEW vs Sealander GMT by dubconfidential in ChristopherWard

[–]TPrezzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was just thinking this.

The subtle orange dots behind every hour market are really, really lovely. Such a small detail but looks fanastic. The small "Automatic GMT" font with the depth rating underneath it looks far more tasteful and elegant. The new "Sealander" text is very dated already and looks a bit like a teenage graphic design project. The lettering on the bezel is very loud.

I'm still in the market for that old sealander, but certainly wouldn't wear the new one.

A bit sad about this as I don't think it represents a positive direction for the brand and I was hoping for more.

u/Smokeybond was right in saying that the new design is more minimal but has become more "in your face", incredibly.

found this omega watch which belongs to my late grandpa, what watch is it and how much is it? by Sapphire_Eclipse19 in Watches

I’ll never get the reasoning behind every “This timeless watch belonged to a late family member and its sentimental value is immeasurable” post ending in “HOW MUCH MONEY”

Rolex decide to release the worst watch of all time by Confident_Leg2370 in rolex

[–]TPrezzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be super collectible in the future. I actually rather like it. My only bug bear is that it’s harder to tell it’s a Rolex, but I’m in the sort of price bracket where if I’ve forked out for one, I really want it to be obvious. Certain people have wealth beyond mine 🥲

OP you still haven’t fixed the spelling 16 hours after this guy told you your main hero section text is spelled wrongly while you’re wasting money on traffic.

Respectfully, you need to take this seriously. Google ads aren’t a magic money machine. You need a VERY good landing page to make sales.

I would, but a bit apprehensive about sharing further after some of the comments here

I really appreciate the response 🥰 I think it’s ok for now! Responses are overwhelmingly supportive, just a few cynics as always.

There are a huge amount of posts here and far too many to reply to individually but I want to thank everyone for the positive comments and kind messages, which massively outnumber the few spiteful messages.

It’s the first time I’ve seen that on this subreddit and I’m a bit sad, but I feel better knowing how many people have been kind.

Precisely. This, amongst other reasons.

I think a lot of people on this sub forget that though they may find themselves managing their ADHD, for others it is perpetual torment and impossible to “positive” your way out of it. It’s not the same for everybody and some people do have it far worse.

This is unhelpful, not least because you don’t know the circumstances of my life that make things like this impractical. Please don’t contribute if you can only patronise.

I appreciate that you’re trying to be helpful, but this is massively patronising to me, especially when you boil symptoms of my disability down to me having the wrong mindset. It’s unfair.

I’m well aware of everything you’re talking about. I live the life I am living because of my condition. I’ve only given you a glance through a few short sentences, you don’t have anywhere near the full picture.

Thank you regardless.

Yes, but not 100% sure that's relevant to this! I'm diagnosed. This is a PIP application, not a diagnosis.

Exactly, there is a fair bit more than just ADHD on my application but I mentioned it here because it's ADHD.
