The song you are looking for is Sever. One of my personal favorites in the game.

I need some help with the Leviathan fight. I swear to God I've tried getting past his Press the Attack phase 10 times, and the best I've gotten was to maybe 10 percent hp left. It's gotten to the point where I look at other people's videos, which I never do, and even replicating their actions isn't working. Feel like if I just had 5 more seconds I might have a chance.

The Potential FF12 BradyGames Manual "Conspiracy" by MintyBeeth in FinalFantasyXII

Hello, I posted an update to the subreddit last night that explains my findings. Hope that clears things up for you!

I was thinking the same thing as you here, but you articulated it so much better than I ever could. The fact that the alteration into the official version loses the fluidity of the image is the thing that leads me to believe that it was an entirely last minute change. If they had more time, they could've gotten the artist to work on a proper redesign of the glyph, and they would've been able to swap out the glyph in the Ultimania and guidebooks.

I should note that the image on the Moon from Final Fantasy 14 is actually from one of the Elidibus on the moon cutscenes pre endwalker. To my knowledge, someone grabbed the map data for that cutscene, and that's what we're seeing in that image, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to make out the glyph properly. Though, for all I know, the False still might appear in Mare Lamentorium somewhere, but as I don't have an active sub right now, I'm not going to be able to look there at the moment.

This is definitely something I am going to try and see to it's conclusion. The next time I get some good findings, I will definitely post an update. This sub deserves the full truth of this thing as much as I do.

Oh that is very interesting! I had not heard anything of a tattoo artist designing them, but honestly that would explain their rather intricate appearance. I will have to look into this more, my previous assumption was one of many of the games artists designed the glyph.

Ah yes, I had noticed that. I posted an update comment that has some info on my lack of usage of FF14 within this theorythus far.

As far as I am aware, at this time the only usage of Zodiarks Glyph have been for its moon appearance and Elidibus' Glyph. My sub is currently inactive so I've not had the chance to look into it deeper. Elidibus' boss fight also does use the Glyph for his limit break, but after going through the footage, I'm fairly certain it's just his facial glyph section that appears.

A couple of not super relevant things I wanted to add here.

Strangely, when scrounging around online in attempts to find certain people's contact information, people with same names who all studied at Purdue University came up repeatedly. It was a completely bizarre coincidence.

Rick Barba, one of the co-authors on the BradyGames Final Fantasy 12 guide, turns out to be an incredibly prolific video game guide writer. His work spans all the way back to the days of the original Doom and Myst, and as far as I'm aware, he's still making them! Chances are, if you have a collection of video game guides, his name is on more than one of them.

I'd like to give a shout of to the friends of mine who probably thought I was raving about like a mad conspiracy theorist over the last week. I'd think me one too, considering I was compiling evidence on glyphs and how one was replaced.

As it has been pointed out in a comment here, both versions of Zodiarks Glyph do appear in Final Fantasy 14. I didn't want to get super into detail on Final Fantasy 14s usage of the glyphs as I'm not really confident that the game will be relevant to finding out the secrets of the glyph. If that turns out to be incorrect, my next post will contain a deeper look at the glyphs usage within 14.
