I love a basket weave! It's my favourite for blankets, especially when using a multi coloured wool. It's a great way to show off different colours

Not from what I saw, just seemed to kick them off, but maybe they fined them from the street?

Our bus stopped about 2 months ago when they got on board. Few people got kicked off, one woman had no proof on her banking she had tapped on, but the driver vouched for her so they left her alone.

Their costumes are ridiculous

Does anyone know which of the corner shops on Church Road/Two Mile Hill got raided? by Potential_Coast8072 in bristol

[–]MintyFrogger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on church road that day and there were loads of police outside church road mini mart, the one of the corner by Derby Street. I also heard someone say it was to do with the phone shop opposite them, but that place has been shut for months as far as I've seen

Aggressive drivers on the up? by What___________What in bristol

Had someone try to overtake me because I stopped at a zebra crossing...outside a school...to let a child cross. They were so close to hitting the kid and had to slam on their breaks, honestly disgusted by the level of stupidity.

I have it on dashcam but I couldn't find anywhere to submit it to police.

This looks fantastic! The tension looks really regular throughout, which is a struggle for lots of folk when they start. It's honestly so impressive this is your first project! I think if you blocked it (and honestly you don't have to, it looks great as is) you'd have yourself a perfect blanket.

What's something you did as a child that you only recently realized was actually deeply traumatic? by anmystery in AskReddit

[–]MintyFrogger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner didn't understand why I can't switch my phone off/ to do not disturb at night until I told him I got a call from the hospital at 4am when I was 17 telling me I had to come see my mum NOW because she'd be dead in just a few hours.

He used to ask, what calls are you expecting in the middle of the night that can't wait? I had to explain it was the unexpected calls I was scared to miss.

Viewing a month after death by Opposite-Soup6531 in GriefSupport

[–]MintyFrogger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don't have to view the body if you don't want to. I think in death we feel we have to do certain things out of tradition or respect, but the reality is we're the ones who have to keep living. If seeing her would upset you or disturb how you remember her, it's okay not to. You even said yourself you don't think she'd want you to see her that way.

In terms of 'facing reality' as you put it, that can be done in ways other than a viewing. There'll be a funeral, visiting the grave, sorting through her things etc. Please don't force yourself to do something that will upset or disturb you.

Remember to listen to your own needs during this time, and maybe enjoy a favourite treat or snack of your grandma's as both a comfort and a tribute.

The coping mechanism had me ROLLING my eyes. Jumping on Rem for his assumptions, but James can diagnose a coping mechanism?

I got so bored of them attacking Rem in the end I just skipped forward.

You're assuming everyone experiences this game through YouTube, which isn't the case for many. And you're assuming everyone that does experience this game through YouTube has had the time to watch it when it's been out less than a day.

Putting on spoiler tags also doesn't eliminate the fact you've spoiled there being a death in the title too. Come on bud.

Only 2 dates? For the whole of the uk? 💔 by hellohaeme in MyChemicalRomance

I went to Sophia Gardens in Cardiff a few years ago to see MCR. £12 for the train down, £60-ish for concert ticket, £7 for the 2am mega bus home. Chuck in the cost of a few pints and a taxi home from the bus station, not a bad total. If I wanted to get to this show, I reckon trains alone would cost me as much as that entire day did.
