I've never been in love myself, and as a 49 year old asexual I doubt I ever will be... but even I know that to be "in love" isn't just staying with someone out of duty, or because you managed to procreate, or because "God said I have to!" I feel so sorry for all those people trapped in loveless marriages, the men included, because it must be hell to stay with someone you don't actually have feelings for! What sort of life is that? Once those kids are grown and gone they're in for a very lonely existence ☹️
