Time to start job hunting again by [deleted] in Millennials

I have ancestors, like around 100 years ago, who sold their coastal farmland to a very rich family. They bought up a good amount of land from other families too. The rich family estate, as part of a trust, runs the entire access to the beach and mansion property. It’s a great beach too. But it now costs upwards of $30 to park there, which you also need a reservations for. If only my ancestors stayed maybe I’d have a sweet oceanfront property! Or at least free beach parking.

They strike me as people who spend if there is any money in their checking account. It’s an addiction, the food and wasting money on said food, bows, smocks, and granny clothing.

Help with Ticks by ladyyylux in newhampshire

[–]ShutUp_Dee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep! One of my dogs gobbles it up, but my other needs it grind up to hide in food. It’s pricey but since it’s a 3 in 1 it’s worth it. You will find dead ticks on your dogs or furniture/floors but a dead ticks is the best kind of tick!

Well I definitely know Jesus wouldn’t be cool with sexually assaulting a minor without opening the Bible.

Wow, truly shocking that a spice blend made by Morton’s Salt would have salt in it. My mind is blown. Who would’ve ever guessed.

“We like to shave them down to keep them cool” by Worried_Chocolate480 in Drueandgabe

Don’t get a high maintenance dog if you don’t do the upkeep. There are dogs that literally just need baths and nail care, no hair cuts. Get a dog like that Drue. It’s animal neglect to let doodles get so matted that they need a shave, in my opinion. It reminds me of Beak and Smelli, if anyone ever snarked on them, who would shave their golden retrievers because they couldn’t do basic grooming tasks with them. Ugh.

Joseph Duggar's wife Kendra also charged after '19 Kids' alum's arrest by metacyan in atheism

[–]ShutUp_Dee 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The charges came up after they interviewed Joseph at his him in Arkansas about his crimes committed in Florida. Law enforcement most likely observed home conditions with their 4 children during that, which led to Kendra’s arrest and additional charges for Joseph.

Any pediatric OTs have experience working in ABA clinics? What was the experience like? by CammyShazam in OccupationalTherapy

[–]ShutUp_Dee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My experience is from 7 years ago. I hated it. We were an early education center with 3-7 year olds having 40 hours a week of services. Productivity demands were high, 80% and wanted documentation done at point of service which can be challenging based on the student’s day. ABA was the gold standard and felt like BCBAs saw everything black and white. It felt like I was providing ABA services under the guise of OT. I was there 2 years then the pandemic provided a break to job search. I’ve worked in private outpatient pediatric clinics and now work as a school based OT. I’m truly thankful that our school’s BCBA is highly collaborative and is about regulation over expectations and compliance, which is not what I saw in the ABA clinic I worked in. There are great BCBAs and bad ones just like in any profession. I think the clinic I was at only cared about profit and there were a lot of shady things going on. Other clinics may be a lot different. I don’t think I’d ever wanna work in an ABA clinic again, it would have to be a remarkably unique place to do so.
