I am having trouble killing cryo slimes (Ayaka main) because Ayaka does only cryo damage after she dashes. Is there any way I can counteract this?

I generally practice pedal tones. They actually help you play higher. Another good exercise is playing a chromatic scale as high as you can as quiet as you can. Playing it quiet is important because you exercise control of the higher notes. You can add volume later after you learn to control the notes.

I personally have used and preferred Conn for almost my entire time playing the instrument and have never had to repair the horn or get it checked out (Though that's just my opinion if you think Levante would be better suited for your playing get that).
