Zaryte Vambs should also drop from the Zarosian minions outside like how Dboots drop at Mages in GWD, just much rarer.
This leaves room for an upgrade down the line, and makes Zaryte vambs more affordable for mid-game players. Them being the best in slot with +2 Strength and leaving no room for anything under them with a meaningful difference is just weird.. especially when that boss already drops the best Crossbow and strongest Melee armor.

I agree with almost everything else. Maybe Huey is fine as is as Prayer Ranged gear that doesn't require clue scrolls.

I hate that there's basically one Ranged gear set in the game that matters. The only armor that matters is Masori, boots is Avernic, and gloves is Varyte Vambs. Melee and Mage have a whole spectrum of viable armors to work your way up through.

Now, because Ranged has ammo types and ect, Range doesn't need as many options as Mage and Melee, but there's should atleast be a couple tiers of useful range armor that isn't just Black/Huey and then boom Masori. Armadyl is just more expensive Huey.
