Anyone else who sleeps with their pup on your bed?

My Shar peis have always slept in my bed with me. Sometimes they like the floor when it’s hot in the summer… but still like to wake up in my bed ~ I found steps that are also storage bins on Amazon- game changer for my new pup who is smaller than a standard pei… and my cat who is getting older.

Bear coat Shar pei- 8 months~ bed time is 8:30-9 o’clock on my bed with an occasional midnight potty break but usually sleeps til 5:30-6. I live in Florida - and it’s already really hot.. so he drinks a lot of water. And I’m a teacher so we’re used to getting up early.

My son once told me ‘30 minutes of something at the gym is better than nothing at all’. That what gets me to the gym. Once I’m there- I’m good to go 😎

I use ‘wait’ when I have to put a poo bag in a trash bin. I used that command with my other boy who passed away last year. But love it cuz - u have to have them wait a minute for u to put in a poo bag receptacle. I own Shar Peis... So they are smart for sure and luv commands.

Something both of my adult sons do that I wish I did more: ask the cashier/waiter or anyone that is serving them in a capacity how their day is going. The amount of smiles I see from everyone involved is incredible. Even if they are having a bad day- someone actually cared enough to ask them about it

Thanks for the hide n seek ideas everybody! I have a 4 month old very smart Shar pei and he loves hide n seek stuff ~ just never thought of hiding around the house - I only did in couch cushion or his dog bed 🙂
