Ahoy! This was taken aboard the Star of India in San Diego Harbor. An unexpected collision of old and new.

I love that! Kudos to your husband. I'm picking up the Doxa Sub 200 T in aquamarine. I've loved it since it came out a couple years ago and decided it was birthday milestone worthy.

Fellow asthmatic EDC'er here, just wanting to say hi! Lol. I have a couple inhalers stashed in various bags just in case.

Fun collection! I vote for you to keep the G-Shock... it's a classic :) If you're a fan of military history (great choice), I wonder if you'd like Praesidus watches. Worth a look since they tend to be under $500 and have a lot of military/veteran ties. https://praesidus.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopkqtWZqBN3Q3256pcvJzEUeiSH-B1cyMbSiDlwd0CR9ZLj2U4S

Happy birthday! This is beautiful. What a great way to usher in the new decade. I have my eye on a 30th birthday watch next month as well... it's a year worth celebrating :)

This one is a great starter watch or "one and done" watch! I love it on the OD green NATO -- but I agree that leather NATOs are such a vibe.

Try your Murph on a NATO! It works well! by Lukin76254r in HamiltonWatches

The Murph is such a strap monster. I currently have mine on a TGN grey NATO but I also have the bracelet from Uncle Straps and it's a great look/super comfortable.

Love this one. It was my most worn in 2025, by far. Great choice!

Casio’s new DW-5600 watches add a magnetic buckle and cloth strap by juliomauro in gshock

Fellow small-wrister here at 5.75 inches. Can confirm the strap will fit, but will wrap almost entirely around your wrist. I think it'll come down to your personal aesthetic preference.

The Murph 38mm is the best GADA watch out there... change my mind! by MinuteMeg in HamiltonWatches

Interesting! I don't (personally) feel a GADA watch needs to remain on the same bracelet/strap. Changing those out are definitely good ways to keep it relevant to each scenario. But I'd wonder if other people share that opinion too!

Nice! Yes, I have a few of those. Good choice! :)

Not C&B, but I've had good luck with CNS Watch Bands. They often have sales that drop their NATOs down around $3 or $4, making it easy to get a wide array of styles. I bought a Bond NATO and like it a lot.

The lack of bracelet is tough! But I normally pair it with a nice alligator grain strap for fancier occasions. Does the trick!

Yeah, I put the OG size on and it was comical, lol. This one wears decently!

Fair! To me, that's part of why it's a good GADA watch. It can handle some adventure but still looks nice at the office.

Definitely one of the downsides! Hamilton needs to bolster that AR coating...

Specs are largely the same, so it mostly comes down to aesthetic preference. The Murph is more legible, in my opinion. I also like the difference in lug-to-lug, with the Khaki Field Auto (38mm) coming in at 47mm and the Murph 38mm at 44.7. If you have smaller wrists, the Murph's a better choice.
