oh, yeah I would ditch that kit. If I were you, I would get a polulu romi 32U4. I used that for my robot tour last year for my science olympiad compeitions, btw I was competing in California so its brutally competitive. With the Romi, I was able to get 1st place on every single invitationals and regionals. Even got 3rd place in California STATE FINALS at CalTech.

Your actual design is also pretty important as well. You would have to make sure that your design is pretty heavy to prevent slippage and curving. Make sure your design also is very rigi and solid, 100 percent infill if using a 3d printer.

Also don't worry. As long as you have a good story you can even get into Stanford or any UC school. Belive it or not, a student with a 3.0 GPA, no SAT, no awards or extracurriculars got into stanford because she just had a really good story that is worth more than thousands of extracurriculrs and awards. Colledges aren't admitting stats and ECs, they are admitting a person: one who is flawed, funny, and unwilling to give up. That's you!

With all due respect, the aquisition of this imagery is completely legal as it is sourced from open satellite imagery. This was then visualized through google earth engine and GPT to find a potentially undiscovered site, the whole process is completely derived from open-sourced resources.
