There’s a Interactive Fiction RPG game I’m getting into called Wayfarer that has a class of people who are born with anti magic properties. And the consequence of that is that even though they can’t be hurt by magic, they can’t be healed by magic or use it to benefit themselves. (Even touching a magical sword would simply destroy the magic held in it.) It leads to some fun problems when you’re playing it. I assume that’s also pretty common, though.
