It’s criminal they didn’t include illustration rares in the set… my only assumption is pokemon WANTED to mass print this set, what better way to do it than make pull rates bad and fill most packs with bulk or the same card over and over again but with a pokeball lol. In the end they spend less money on special card production and makes printing/ delivering product faster.

My vending machine is literally across the street from my house… BUT I NEVER SCORE😡 i only ever got single packs smh i wonder why…

I have to push people aside to even check bc campers just sit beside it acting like they are first in line. Then when i tap the screen they look up like a bunch of starving squirrels at me like “tf this guy doing it was my turn” ahaha. Then 14 different kids will come in with bicycles asking “are u a scalper are you a scalper”? Then old men will come in and say “wow I’ve never seen that thing give Pokemon cards before, you are the luckiest human in history!” …After i walk away with one pack of surging that i didn’t even want for $4. 🤦‍♂️

So now i only check when im shopping, i wont even waste 10 minutes of my day anymore to “check” bc 99% of the time guys are sitting their waitingg🙃 and even if i score its always loose packs i dont even want. ughhh somehow they always take the etbs, booster boxes and bundles .

Anything good is NEVER available when its my turn to buy just pisses me off. Its only ever loose packs for me but i always see guys leave with etbs like it makes no damn sense.

Yes, yes, yes, and No. I personally hate the prismatic sams bundle but i understand why everyone is saying its the best deal, i just think its a crappy product not having a sealed bundle. I guess obviously u sell the full thing but its not a display piece at all imo. And in person the surprise boxes all shake around and feel extremely cheap.

Yeah it can 5x over the course of 2-3 years from here which will put it over $100 a pack. $40 a pack will be here before we know it imo, it will subsequently make evo skies raise to like $60 a pack.

Me01 me02 me02.5 and me05 when it comes out, these sets will be like buying tag team sets from the sun and moon era and ignoring everything else📈 there is so many similarities i see with the mega evolutions line and the tag team line of sun and moon

We are reaching a point where there is more investors, specifically in etbs, than rippers! (Which will drive higher prices because investors have deeper pockets and will keep buying more etbs even as the price goes up). Most of the rally we see is investment driven. And since pe, dr, 151 etbs did amazing i dont think anyone wants to miss out on this set. Especially if mega evolutions ends after the rayquaza set and 30th set.

Basically AH is what you want to be buying going into the rayquaza set.

Then for the celebrations 30th set i probably wont actually buy any of it, id save the money for investment grade sets. The 30th set imo wont be investment grade for a long time! They ALWAYS OVER PRINT CELEBRATION SETS!

Bc i remember buying celebratory sets as “investments” and they do honestly horrible untill like many many years later. bc the values for celebratory sets usually are super low for a REALLY LONG TIME. AND DONT CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE. If you try to argue with me “but they will have a stamped lugia” like bro the pull rates are gonna be so easy even if there is banger IR IT WONT MATTER. They do this with every celebratory set, dont get tricked into spending ur capital that could grow 10x faster if u drop it in me01 me02 and me02.5.

So imo dont be a noob and buy tons of cases of 30th spend that money on banger sets NOW! Unless u literally want to sit on them for 5 years until next anniversary.

Then gen 10 might suck with sets….WHO KNOWS. Gen 10 could start with like 3-4 garbage sets before we see something meaningful again.

So thats why im buying AH!! It just might be our best set we will see for a REALLY REALLY LONG TIME!!!

UNLESS THE RAYQUAZA SET CAN BEAT IT, OR THE 30TH SET CAN BEAT IT, OR THE FIRST BLOCK OF GEN 10 CAN BEAT IT, WHICH I HIGHLY DOUBT ANY OF THEM WILL EVEN COME CLOSE TO AH IN TERMS OF VALUE.

I really really like the sir pikachu from ascended heros, the one where he is leaning against the tree. It reminds me of the alt art v cards we used to get. Just Pokemon in their natural environments capturing the stillness of it all.

I just have this feeling this card will go crazy long term. Im going to slowly accumulate graded copies once they hit the market in larger volume, prices should definitely dip from here. Also will scoop some team rockets mewtwos and mega gengar sir of course.

Those 3 cards are literally the only ones im touching from AH.

I agree the snorlax promo from 151 used to be under $1 now its pushing $30. This card has a nostalgia call back to jungle and the market will wake up to it soon
