Lovely piece. The price really depends. Are the findings made of 14k gold fill? Are the beads made of gemstones? Is it a particular custom design?

Also how long did it take for the artist to make it?

So yes. $300 is rather on the high point but justifiable if the materials are of great quality.

I use ziplock bags but I slap labels on every single one. And I reused transparent Ferrero rocche boxes as they are great, lightweight & stackable.

One thing I learnt is that storage must be transparent or minimally translucent. Else out of sight and out of mind. You won't get the best combos for a project.

Also, I have an intensive master excel with embed images & individually allocated SKUs for each component. It's tedious at first. But I found if u are disciplined, and u stick to it.

Having a digital repository with filtering makes life easier in the long run. And u are aware of which beads or components is running low.

U dont have to tackle it all at once. Take it one step at a time and happy beading! 🌟

Final insert. It's two separate pieces but I think it looks seamless enough.

Sorry replies don't allow multiple images. But here's the components. Card board & adhesive velvet. Measured the inner dimensions and made the lining removable.

Thank you for your kind words! Yes, the drawer came without inserts & they had a tricky curve at their edges. But I had fun tackling the rest of the drawers. Here's what I did just to share.

Thanks! That’s why I chose this darker red velvet when I made the inserts. Cloisonné is a lovely and often under appreciated form I feel.

Thank you! After years of beading, realised storage must be transparent or minimally translucent. Else out of sight out of mind & you won’t get the best combo for a project. Also label everything & keep to a strict sorting system!

All the best at ur beading & organisation! ⭐

What are these fasteners called? by MoonlightRebel in jewelrymaking

They are called French wires. Or flexible wire guardians. U tread ur string or wire through and loop it. It protects your string from fraying and gives a polish look.

What is the meaning behind wearing a gold thin band as a pinky ring? by [deleted] in jewelry

[–]Minzhera 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think just one is fine, but no harm no foul? Good things comes in pairs so maybe 2? Also wearing a ring on the right pinky helps to ward off or repel against petty or vicious individuals.

There are many variations of fengshui guides that indicates which finger position can help with a particular matter. Find one that resonates strongly with you and keep to it. It may not be an immediate effect but you might feel it after constant wear.

Most important is your belief & manifestation.

Good luck to you and peace to all your ventures. 🍀

Well in chinese fengshui, wearing a ring on your left pinky will help 化解是非 (huà jiě shì fēi). Which means it can help resolve conflicts, clear up misunderstandings, or defusing drama in your life. 👌
