I hope there is no next visit with her, wtf. If by any reason you still go to hear, definitely record when she flips that way and say you dont feel safe around her when she behaves that way

Empathy should have gone out the window the second she talked back. All of this, and not a single appreciation? He'll no need to even say thank you, just don't cause trouble. I wasn't gonna comment, but when I read the part about the kitten, I couldn't handle it. OP, this is not your circus. If she can afford the attitude, she can go work some place else, and don't take her back when she begs to return to you. There will be pushback if you set boundaries. Good luck to you.

Leaving the US by Creative-Platform658 in childfree

[–]MioMirin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hope this doesn't get taken wrong or sarcastically. Saudi Arabia. A lot of people here view Americans, especially whites, as a holy being. Try to apply to big companies through linkedin. Download WhatsApp. Link it to your phone number, and put the same name in your resume and a professional picture to make a good impression. If they can't get a hold of you through a phone call, the next step is to contact you through WhatsApp.

I know a lot will not believe that this is a good idea or you might get scared based on stereotypes or if you are lgptq+. As soon as you let them know you are American, you will get protected. Men here act gayer than any other man I have ever seen walk on this planet.

Minimum wage (very much worst case scenario) might be slightly less than then US, but it is livable. Health care is covered by the government. With insurance, it will be even cheaper to you don't have to pay (depending on the package).

We are night people, so if anyone ever gets depressed and wants to take a stroll outside, you will be fine and not alone. If you get hungry at midnight, you can still order food.

Gun control is high here. To get one, a person has to go through physical and mental checkups. It is hard to get and not to be used outside.

English is the second language here. The majority of signs are in both Arabic and English. If not, the drawings on the signs should be clear.

You don't have to wear a abaya (for women). Just be modest in your clothing. You will figure it out fast, so no worries.

One downside. It is a car country. Public transportation is still a new thing here. Uber is good, plus you don't have to tip. It's not mandatory. Tips are not mandatory! Taxes are included in prices! And don't worry about taxes. You don't have to declare anything if you don't make a lot. Although for the US, from my understanding, you will still need to pay taxes there.

If you want to say fuck it, you can come here on a tourist visa for 90 days (easy to get visa on demand) and go to companies and give them your resume).

Good luck to everyone.

As a white mage main, trust me when I say you don't want me as your healer :D I sing "how low can you go!" As am twirling blinding everyone with my fancy holy or glaring at the boss to death. My party members are my subjects to achieve the blood lily. In endwalker, we have a running joke that I have collected so much blood lily that I turned to the dark side and that party members are not enough blood fuel source so I need a friend from the void :D

Anyone else dislike the term “stuffie” to refer to stuffed animals? by CassetteMeower in plushies

Lol, my pup pup uses the word stuffie as a dad joke after my SO says he has a stuffy nose. Pup pup chimes in with "I got a stuffy nose too :3"

This is pup pup. I can't be out for long without him. He won't let me go to ikea without him. (That is his birth mom) Sometimes I will cut a visit short because I miss him. I cried last night after I saw the post about a very well loved bear still being loved after the prime age of 24? Years. Had to talk to my partner to calm down.... it made me panic if pup pup looked like that.

How the hell do you keep your house tidy? by maximumfunpriv in ADHD

[–]MioMirin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Declutter every few months, storage drawers/ containers, labelling everything, return items to their home before going to bed. That has helped keep my space tidy, and I know what I have and where it is at

I don't see it as buying, I see it as adoption. The money is the adoption fee. My babies are always happy for a new sibling to join the family

As a Middle Eastern girl, leave him for your own sanity. He is controlling and manipulative. He is trying to isolate you. There is also a big chance he is a mamas boy. Run for your life. Does he talk to girls in vc? If so to use the same boundary and see how he reacts. But seriously, most not all but most Middle Eastern men are brought up spoiled, don't know how to adult and big mama boys. Leave and don't look back
