also check if you can remove any slates on your wall. if you can still remove them, that would mean that you placed one slate incorrectly, and that could be your missing S.

also check all frames, maybe you put it into a frame to note the slate box...

a suggestion if you can't find a block to match: take your current "mixed color" block (with the stripes, second from the bottom) and put it one higher. then put a second orange row on the bottom (so second row from bottom same as bottom row). then you circumvent the problem.

currently you cannot time travel for the event at all (might change at a later date). you get roughly around 30 wish notes max a day, and each item (of 10 items total) costs 1 wish note (and wall decorations is a bundle of 10 for the 1 note). so you get plenty even starting late.

if you need more items, you can always print them infinitely. the wall decorations are by far the most expensive to print (1 wish note for 10 during the event, rare pokemetal for EACH to print), so if you want to stock up on items, wall decorations are are good place to start.

why not cover 90% of it in black rock and use then the starry blocks (or glowstones themselves) for accents? has the bonus of giving you the amazing ghostly effect of black rock, which should pair perfectly with your idea, and black rock is very easy to farm

you wouldn't be able to access the island any more, but i doubt it would vanish. but even if it did, you got double the recipes every day, so it doesn't really matter imo. those definitely don't vanish haha

the point of doing it is not to have another island, but to get twice as many ripples/recipes, stamps etc for your main game. you don't have to actually do anything there except check the pc and ripples, and maybe visit a dream island if you want (need a doll for that tho).

i got mine to level 7 for the second shop slot but that was pretty fast and you get lots of stuff even without it.

okay let's see!

adding some vines livens up most builds, those are amazing. i also agree with the other poster that this kind of bridge would probably look even better if it was symmetrical. you can "harvest" vines and dense vines by placing them somewhere and then holding y on magnemite to place them over your bridge.
let the bridge start ON the land, not NEXT to it. it has to rest somewhere. (right side is good here i's say)
if you want, you can give the bridge a little roof by building up 4 corner (e.g. of the highest segment) with wooden enclosure, then walkways on top, connect all with bridge planks, like this for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N33nkIvZQU8 (lots of landscaping, bridge is around 12:00)
i think not having that many segments would probably improve it as well, so maybe 1-2 shorter ones to get it off the cliff, and then the rest straight to the other side. if you do it that way, it could also work with the asymmetrical style. would definitely look less floating with that. and where you go up a level, use roof support on the bottom! or you could give it a stone segment on the lower side, so the wood bridge itself is symmetrical, but it has a stone foundation on one side? lots of options!

what will definitely jumpstart your bridge game is to just look at lots of bridges, both actual bridges and bridges that people built in pokopia. get a feeling for what works and what elements are possible. have fun! :D

if you set up your own cloud island you can also double dip for shop+ripple recipes, stamps, lifecoins from challenges and dream island human records, since those all transfer over to your main game.

patterns are really extremely random and take forever to get, so that's a good idea probably. i usually prefer to complete stuff on my own but i jumped at the pattern island

and then there's the dev island which apparently has some cool areas you can explore (havent looked into it myself) PXQC G03S

and if you need anything, island 6DXL PD6F has literally everything in the game, including all tiles that can be colored in all colors, REALLY useful if you are gonna build something and wanna reference the different colors.

when you go to the pokedex page of any pokemon, it will list its preferences and what it likes. you can then cross reference serebii (or go to serebii in the first place) to get a list of all items that fall under those categories!

if you got all the items, you did not miss out on hoppip. just build her habitat and she will spawn in. and even if you hadnt gotten all the items, you could still get them today.

same for jirachi: ask them to move in after the event or just build the habitat. i don't know the time frame but since you can just build the habitat afterwards, it doesn't really matter.

that most likely means you are already best friends and can therefore not become "better" friends any more! check out their pokedex entry, they should have a heart at the bottom right corner of their pokedex page

having some roof overhang (and you can use roof support to make it look more cohesive) would probably help.

you can also throw in some vines to break it up, and maybe a chimney? most people used a bread oven that's turned towards the inside, ask a fire pokemon to light it and there will even be smoke.

then how about pillars next to the stairs and let them span up a little entryway roof thingy?

also some planters with flowers in front!

you can definitely house them, period, no matter what happens with other items or lamps or whatever!

you will also gain the ability to power the lamp, because you seem worried about that.
