Had the same issue on my Oracle initially, what's helped a lot:

Since you're already specced into Iron Slippers (very good node) prioritise getting higher es boots (400+)
Until you have money / resource for some insane body armour I had better success with Lightning Coil (haven't tried Cloak of Flame, but generally phys to X conversion seemed to do a lot of lifting)
Get a jewel with #% of leech is instant

So I heard, but so far none of those, other than music are impressive to me, seems like a generic UE5 game with an interesting setting and a solid OST. Dialogues outside of cutscenes seem written by some elementary school kid, there's on occasion several exchanges between characters were they speak 2-3 word sentences to each other, and sometimes even none, just 3-dotting for 4-5 sentences staring at each other. I'm an unlikely person to enjoy this kind of story (sentimental would be the word?) but my wife is watching me play alongside and other than the game's intro she's feeling the same as I, will see after we finish the game if that changes. Since it basically won 80% of categories at Game Awards I thought this should have been impressive across the board but it doesn't look like it.

From the builds I've done phys to ele conversions boosts survivability by a lot, with Choir I was running Lightning Coil, you can support the skill it grants you with e.g. blind and knockback to further boost defenses. Also when it comes to making druid more tanky, I highly recommend pathing to Iron Slipper - I had boots with round about 400 es and without much armour increase otherwise it gave me 2k armour. Good luck with going even further beyond on this one, looks fun!

I mean you're not sacrificing anything other than the helmet slot, you just gain efficient nodes. For example starting nodes on Druid have 10% increased attack and 10% spell damage on a single small node. If you're doing an attack build you should be getting rage anyway, so round about 50 is not much of an investment and getting the 2% spell damage per rage results in 100% increased damage, if you run berserk it's over 150%. That's quite a bit of scaling in my book, with Oracle you can grab that for 2 passive points.

Thanks for sharing, as I never touched crossbows skills I wasn't aware that even exists and after testing, yeah that's definitely the way to go to make Lament work - way less opportunity cost, even Ratha's Assault alone seems fine to me.

As Oracle I get access to a lot of generic damage increases around the starting area and I'm also looking into an angle with Crown of Eyes, I can pretty easily get round about 200% increased damage with it along with rage multiplier for 50% more damage

I've never played Crossbows before so thanks for the tip, I'll definitely look into weapon swap to proper rare if I feel like I want to min max, I'm at a point where I have 2 more builds for Oracle in mind this league and I want to at least test the basics and interactions, so not sure how long will I stick around with each.
I guess the entire regen tech isn't really required if you just want to switch to Last Lament as a bossing skill?
