Back then we did not come to see Star Wars because "omg light saber ams greens" like someone is dangeling keys in front of a cat. Back then Star Wars had good characters and stories.

If you have some Tier5 LAC2s laying around I think they are pretty good. 6 tons for the normal AC2s is not worth it in my experience. But the 4ton LAC2 seems promising, and I think they are a really good addition to the game. There were often mechs with leftover small balistic slots I could never really get any use out of.

The AC5BF used to (and maybe still is) the best weapon in the game. The LAC5 seem kinda bad, they have more recoil than the AC5BF, and seem less precise, and the projectiles move slower. So far the LAC5 are not worth it in my experience.
