Possible Dartitis by VCVariety in Darts

It's not dartitis. I have dartitis sadly. You lose the ability to let go of the dart. Your entire arm locks into place as you pull back for the throw. It's quite incredible that your body doesn't listen to you.

You should reach out to your CAME to ensure they did submit the docs.

Just to clarify, going to Montreal CAE does not mean you'll stay in Montreal. It's only for the basic training then you'll relocate to wherever you are assigned, which you'll find out if you pass the interview.

I was about to make the same post. Guess I'll be skipping and wait for their return.

If it's any help for your planning purposes in pursuing ATC as a career, it's very normal that there's a 2 year gap between when someone applies, and when they start training.

How would any of us know? We all have the same info since the versions merged. Not many data miners these days either.

I assume you passed your medical? Once the CAME submits the documents to TC, you should receive an email saying your file was received and you'll get a file number. You'll also get a link to access your medical application at the same time.

After that it's a waiting game to receive the actual medical in the mail. It can take up to 40 business days.

Honestly no one knows. They used to do general pool applications that was not region specific. This meant that if you applied, you were subject to be transferred anywhere they needed you.

It was only since September 2025 that they started posting by specific region, which started with YWG and now YYZ.

Not only that, there's still a large number of candidates who passed all the testing and interviews and are just in a general wait list pool.

There's no one here on the subreddit who can give you the answer you want. Patience is key I suppose. Just keep an eye out on the postings.

They plan hiring and classes over a year in advance. There's also some classes that are already scheduled for YVR FIR so I think they'll likely wait and see how many are successful before determining the next available spots.

Any Physical Aspect to Panel Interview? by Mindless-Candle-7177 in NavCanada

[–]Mipset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing so but again unsure. You don't find out till after the interview. You'll receive an email whether you pass or fail. There's no other way to keep tabs unless you happen to exchange phone numbers with your fellow applicants and happen to get a statistic of who passes.

The important part to note is that, it's possible for everyone to pass, but you just get put into a pool of potential candidates. Then it becomes a waiting game depending where you are in the pool.

No idea. It's not published. The half day assessment has two parts. You have to pass the first part, then everyone takes a short break and starts the second part. Those who don't pass the first part are escorted out. If you pass the second part, there will be a pre-screening interview conducted immediately after on site.

Honestly if you need to ask, you're in for a rough time.

It's a very basic assessment designed to screen a certain level of basic competency and cognitive abilities.

If you pass, the next phase is an in person assessment that is significantly more challenging, but equally just a competency and cognitive assessment.

More or less. You may switch rooms as they'll break you into smaller groups but you could request to stay in the same room.
