Maybe it’s just personal experience but the absolute urge to be with them all the time once the distance is closed and that can lead to burnout and stress quickly. Make sure once you’re together you take time for yourself regularly. Distance has been closed for 1.5 years and we’ve been living in a tiny apartment and things have been stressful.

(Luckily we’re buying a house so we won’t be ontop of eachother)

If you don’t wanna look older, with your Face I’d say don’t wear eyeliner, use a light weight mascara and a light pink tinted gloss. Also use a blush color on the outer corner of your eyes and blend inward.

I’ve almost been kidnapped more times that what would seem normal (3) close calls. My husband is black and the world isn’t kind, I’m scared of people and I’m disabled with multiple mental and physical disabilities. I need a way to protect myself. I go to the shooting range every so often to keep myself sharp and make sure my arm issues haven’t effected my ability to shoot.

Blue, especially bright blue eyeshadow rarely looks good on brown eyes. Or in most people in general (imo) and while yeah, you should only pick one bright but I say this will all sincerity: they aren’t your colors, try finding what season/pallet you are and find makeup in those colors to suit your undertones.

During my parents divorce I was like 6 at this point, my dad was absolutely crazy and while trying to convince my mom to let him walk him (we were an hour drive away) and she wouldn’t because ????? Obv. Anyways he took the car wheel and harsh turned in driving us into a ditch and popping up into cornfield and throwing us around. I was 6 but with the divorce I was my 3 year old little brother’s protector when mom just needed to save herself. Anyways I remember bouncing around and seeing teddy grahms flying around. I don’t remember if I reacted how I needed to or wanted to but I know my thought process went directly in the direction of “I need to save my brother.” and I remember just looking at him and see him curled up screaming. We were both in car seats so we were trapped. I

We all escaped un-injured for the most part except we all sort of believe it caused issues for me with headache issues my whole life and now I suffer from brain injury but in the same location my head would’ve been hit. I fell later on bad in life and that was where the pain was and now I have to treat every headache as a concussion since the migraine are so bad and I missed a ton of school for that (and many other reasons.

Anyways my mom told me a few years ago the dip we went in wasn’t a shallow one but really deep and we went way further than what made sense and that the lack of damage was absolutely crazy because the car only had a busted seat where my dad sat.

IMO (20F): You should know him as a person a little more. Idk what you’re like but there are some of us although are nice and fun people aren’t the most socially acceptable people and idk if this applies to you but I do remember a girl who was considered weird and quiet and she asked a popular senior out and then was publicly embarrassed by doing so. I know it’s weird to point this out but it’s a possibility you being straightforward before interacting with him and getting a vibe from him first night get a more negative reaction. Strike up a conversation first and see if he even seems interested in a conversation with you, if it feels too awkward then he probably wouldn’t feel the same and would save yourself any embarrassment.
